Most of the original signers of the constitution were the elites of their time. Does it not seem reasonable that they set the country up to favor elites? Of course they did. It is time for a few rules to help the people, like universal single payer health care for example.

I don't think the progressives misread anything. It looks like they are systematically trying to discredit the movement by any means necessary! The Tea Party is against everything the progressives stand for. It's only natural they would want to snuff out their movement. They need to be careful though, because people are becoming fed up (no pun intended) with how the system is functioning. The corruption and air of superiority of our elected officials is troubling. The disconnect between our glorious leaders and average folks is something which I believe has our founding fathers doing somersaults in their graves!

More ppl than not now believe Obama is a socialist. The clock is ticking down on the Dem's and they know it (the smart ones anyway). Everything has to be done in a rush now because of it....

It's going to a liberal bloodbath come November......
