It's the most wonderful time of the year and I don't just mean because the kids are back in school.

I love this time of year. The leaves are all changing colours, the air is cool and crisp and the plants are flowering. Each morning I walk outside and the fresh aroma of ripening flowers tantalizes my senses. On closer observation the sun dances of the glittening crystals of the flowers that are reaching for the sky. When touching these precious gems my fingers become sticky and gummy. Once again I am left with the beautiful scent from my favourite flowers

in full bloom. As I ponder how much longer the wait will be I hear whispers from some of the buds

"pick me" "pick me"..."no, no pick me"

CUT

Ok I'm not quite THAT delusional BUT this waiting is :wall::wall::wall::wall::cry::wall::cry::wall:

im a little sad,
this is my 1st outside grow to, and my plants have been flowering for about 6 weeks to, so i decided to see when the sun light was actually 12hrs and less, well thats what bummed me out, the 12 hour days didnt start till beginning of sept. so i think i have to wait till the end of oct or even later, my plants are white berry and the flowering time says 55-60 days, but the 12 hour cycle wasnt started till 1st week in sept, even though they have been flowering since july, dam sun. lol ps im in mass,

Love the name and your avatar.
I agree! It's all good.
I don't have any kids of my own so I can't relate to the baby thing.

My plants are receiving much less than 12 hours a day of sunlight but I know they will flower. I don't go by how long it says the plant should take to flower because there are so many varibles. (location, growing medium, indoors or outdoors etc)
It does take a lot longer flowering outdoors. Without a doubt.

The thing is I'll miss my little friends. When I cut my first one I felt kinda bad for about as long as it took me to get out my pruning scissors and start trimming. But it was fun watching them grow. Much more fun than my tomato or pepper plants. I'm holding out for at least two more weeks for the last one.

I have to agree with you there Chester. You really do build a relationship with these beauties and it does feel a bit guilty when you first pick some buds. BUT...it's almost impossible not to. These are WAY WAY more fun than growing tomato plants.

I have at least 2 weeks for my first one and about another 4 weeks for my others. I hope they make it.

i'm gonna let my girls flower untill the first hard frost...
Considering it's been 7 months i think i can wait another month.
it's def fun to watch grow i'm pretty obsessed w/ my plants also..
I'm getting to the point where i just want it to be harvest time so i can pick all my nice big buds and put them somewhere safe lol..
This years been a bad year my best plant it was 7 foot tall two months ago it's stem was bigger than a beer bottle and got stolen & i found out the hard way that if you grow in the woods you better take the time to build a nice fence especially if where you live is in a drought..
Already looking foward to next year going to try working with some better genetics for sure

yeah. That's what I used to do also but out of ALL the plants I planted outside, not one got stolen. I guess I just had really good luck on my side.
yea i have a few diff patches..
Figured chances of all of them getting found are slim

awww... poor pizzzh... that's terrible. taking a bud or 2 is one thing, but when u kno one person's been working hard on something snd you simply steal it all, leave nothing but the root ball on the ground..... that's cold... real cold
