yep, they locked up 'cause i was blasting them hard with nutes. when they locked up the soil was already soaked. so i had to flush but i am worried about over watering. this looks like it will work.
Gotchya...looks like a great idea :blsmoke:

Flowering in 1/2 gallon pots with a yield that would make hydro growers envious! Damn FDD, you've either got the greenest thumb or sold your soul for the devil's private genetics! Nice f'n grow!

i've been told using veg nutes later in veg will make for leafier buds.... you find this to be true?

i thought it caused vegetive growth so i've always cut it off during flowering. maybe a little bump here and there. this year i used it all throughout flowering outdoors. it caused vegetive growth alright, with buds stacked on top of it.

so i tried it indoors. i will do it from now on.

my light just came on. the newspapers are soaked so it worked. i will do it again next dark cycle with dry paper. one of them exploded with white hairs everywhere. the other ones hairs are all burnt. it looks like it's ripening but it's not. the hairs are brown from being burnt. this is why you can't judge ripeness on hair color. your hairs turn brown when you cut off nutes also. a lot of people harvest early because they think their hairs are brown. the hairs are only brown because they started flushing.

seriously... lots of things will turn the hairs brown... seeding... touching the buds too much will turn them brown... blah blah blah...

basically... i agreee....

check trichs!

my calyxes are swelling. i can't stop staring at them. i will start flushing now unless they fade really fast. the lower buds are plumping up and the hairs are browning. it's on it's way. i'm still looking at 2 more weeks, at least.

i think i just figured out my secret.

i'm out back in my shop. it's an old horse barn converted. even running my 600w it's still gets cold out there. upper 60's. so last winter i bought a little kerosene heater off craigslist for $50. i put it on low and place it directly in front of my intake vent with a fan behind it..........IMG_4420.jpg

i run it during the whole 12 hours lights on cycle. i knew i was putting out some CO2 but i had no idea it was this much. remember, this is a constant 12 hour level...........IMG_4417.jpg......that's 2000 ppm. :hump::blsmoke:

I mean I knew you were getting sooome co2 from that as I had seen it in a post a while back...but 2000ppm from your heater is great.

I Never Thought Of Adding Co2 That Way....good Sh%t Man....

covers so many things at once. drops my humidity, raises my temp AND supplies mass amounts of CO2. the tester says 1300 - 1500ppm is what plants like. 3000ppm is dangerous. looks like about maxin' it at 2000ppm. for 12 hours straight no less. :hump:
