and here come the problems........

i transplanted into bigger pots 2 days ago. watered with fresh water. PH 6.5. nothing been done since. the soil is moist but not wet. my light is 16 inches away with glass and an exhaust fan on the hood. my temps are at 67 degrees (a little low) and 45% humidity. i'm thinking this is just from the shock of going from 30w floros to 600w HPS. everything is sagging, my leaves are curling and i have brown spots on the upper leaves. all this in 24 hours. i bumped my light up 2 inches this morning. i hate growing indoors.

I think its probably just shock from getting soo much light after being under the floros, it happens to me, and from what I understand its fairly common. they should start looking better soon.... hopefully :)

i did dip them in some super mite mix i put together. the leaves are shiny from the neem oil. i used several products mixed together. this may have burned them.

Yea I know I'm just a cool guy like that :spew::mrgreen:
yea super mite mix sounds like some pretty crazy stuff. I wouldn't want it on me... and maybe the plants don't either?

my opinion may have just changed......

i've been swearing by MG soil for years. i use it outside with great results. but now i see this. bastards.:evil::evil:

they need to put out a "clean" product. we'd eat it up. with the name alone backing it it would sell like crazy. something WITHOUT added nutes.

it's PERLITE damnit!!!!!....................IMG_3615.jpg

perlite is bad??? I thought it was good... because it didnt have nutes and it just was to take up room to let air hang out? I thought that why it was light?
I dont know... I just smoked a pound of crack...

i use the schultz perlite, no nutes and does not seem to break down like the mg with nutes.

i did use one bag of the mg perlite and noticed at harvest there was little to no perlite left in soil. the perlite is almost like shavings instead of little balls.

i now use schultz with no problem.

FDD i used the same perlite myself

without knowing there were nutes in it (i mean, who assumes there are nutes in perlite?)
and looking back doing a 50/50 mix of perlite to soil may have attributed to some of my earlier problems....

.... damn

i've been doing straight kellogs garden mix since... has lots of "forest products" in it to help with drainage and whatnot, so i'm not sure if perlite is even needed...

plus, the bug mix stuff (didn't it have some highly toxic things in it, like avid?) may have caused some damage... i remember shaman having a problem with mites and trying multiple products to kill them and many did harm his plants... but he found one that did them no damage and completely took care of the mites... so maybe that helped burn you plants
