ive have failed so many god damn times

okay so hears the deal. ive been trying to grow since spring by germinating seeds and planting them outside. that failed of course. then in the beginning of august my uncle shows up with a plant and gave it to my dad. but my dad wont let me grow right. so i spent like 300 bucks to make a perfect grow room under my stairs. about a 6'x4' room. i divided the room up for vegitation and flowering and what not. good ventalation. and all the goods. then i took a clipping from my uncles plant and cloned it perfectly and it was about a foot tall and i was using the right lights and nutrients and everything and i just checked it about a half hour ago and it was dead. what the hell am i doing wrong? and now my uncles plant is in flowering stage so i have no access to more clippings. and i find ordering seeds online really sketchy cuz i still live my with my parents and gotta keep everything on the downlow. so what should i do?!! im screwed!! any suggestions on how to get any seeds or anything?

Just mail the seeds to your friends house or something but aren't your parents going to kill you if they find your setup anyways....

buy a bag of middies and use a seed from there

Buy from attitude seedbank if you want to order seeds.. they have an option to buy a t shirt with the seeds so you can just tell your parents you ordered a t shirt

shit man, i dont think its what you are doing, its just the first time cloning and just cloning in general, its not the easiest thing to do when you first start off man

dont take it so hard on yourself man your grow room is serious, but i sincerely hope you told your parents your growing because 300 bucks is a lot to waste on nothing, i told my parents before i even purchased seeds

If the clone lived to be a foot tall something is wrong...plants don't just die. Are you sure there is plenty of fresh air? The lamp is at least 18 inches from top of plant? The temps are below 85 degrees?

you can take clippings while in flower

yea you can, and my bad was really high and kinda skipped a line didnt read he had cloned it "perfectly" and it was living to be like a foot tall, then it died, so something happened

alright heres the deal. youve guys have had some good come backs. but this weekend im buying more soil, better lights, gunna go with 6500k cfls. and try to find better nutrients in this damn town. the higher the nitrogen the better for cloning right? and im gunna take another clipping from my dads flowering plant and pray that it works. oh and thoroughly clean my room. sound like a good plan? oh and one more question. its gunna be tough to take a descent size clipping from my dads plant so is it okay if its really tiny? and maybe even just a leaf?

you shoulda sepnt that 300 bucks on a real grow ligth you woulda probably had better result ge a 400w mh or hps

It can't be just a leaf, has to be a whole node.

id say 2 nodes min. MAKE SURE THERES VENTILATION also clones need more p-k but not when watered like taking it from the flowering plant if your dad knows his shit will have the p-k going for it DO NOT WATER CLONES WITH NUTRIENTS UNLESS ITS A ROOTER NUTRIENT OR SOMTHING LIKE THAT

shouId have invested in a 600 wt. HPS , vortex fan for air cooIed , Iights kept at 10 inches grow Iarge tops Iike the ones i'm doing . i just bought another one. make your money back on one pIant or Iess. if you want impressive weed , huge tops , you need bigger Iights in 2 gaI. pots or Iarger.1000 watt Iights seem to get to hot , 600 is perfect.
