local. the guy usually sells other types of glass, which i don't like, but this was a rarity; i got the deal because i complained and groaned about the missing bowl...

and the final, "all i have is 30$..."

i found the bowl at another head shop (involved a waaaaay out of the way drive) that matched perfectly for color. i'll see if i can get daytime pix tomorrow to show the coloration...
