I've never seen this before ! Buds turning brown.

Okay guys I'm new to this site and I need some input.I have an outdoor garden two varieties of plant. Blue Dream and Blue Kryptonite. They are in their 4th week of flower and everything was going great until about a week ago some buds on The B.D. (Blue Dream) statted to lose their white hairs and staring to shrivel up and turn brown.It's coming up from the bottom branches and working it's way up.Some one told me Brown mites ?

Do you see any insects on it? What sort of medium is it growing in? Other than getting dusted by pollen or having the medium dry out bad I'm not sure what it is.

No insects that I can see other than some moths here and there. The medium is a combination of nursery soil and some storeason bought happy frog. It hasn't dried out. I added pH down and B-1 super thrive and mission bloom today after I cut off all affected branches.

Get a 60x-100x hand held microscope, check the buds, you could have broad mites.

they are finishing. has it gotten real cold by you? have you hit them hard with nutes? superthrive wouldnt have done it, but no need to use much in flower BTW.

you either hit em too hard or they are done homie. bugs wouldnt have caused all hairs at once unless major infestation. you would know if you had them that bad.

Whats the RH? It looks like they are finishing but kinda looks like they are about to mold. I dont know how spell it but kinda looks the beginning of bytolirus thats probably way off on the spelling, but im sure someone will correct me. And is that bag seed? There is no crystals

Mg problem. I have the same issue. Epsom salts work but my ladies are huge and im mot sure when to much is to much? On my little ladies they were good after a few day but my 5/6 ft. Im woundering if i should feed and spray them everyday.

I'm with the guy that said looks like mold is about to start. What's the humidity at?

Buds will not keep there "hairs" as cannabis drys so wont the hairs or pistels whatever your into, those are not the basic measure of THC on the bud, what you wanna pay attention to is the actually "crystals" those are the only real measure of how the THC is, These can turn brown which is not what you want because thats degrading THC which is a floaty high nothing you want, i hope this info helped

It's an outdoor grow so I couldn't tell you the humidity but I'm suspecting that they might have had to much moisture I'm letting them dry out a bit after I got rid of affected branches symptoms have stopped which is a relieve. I was adding to a 5 gal bucket 1 tablespoon of 0-50-30 1 tablespoon of 4-25-25 sea grow. Indo guano and crystal burst and that's per plant so imma ease off of that.man I got paranoid with the fingerprint business.fuck .they are still going .I'll take some pics of some of the buds later on today

it looks like on the fan leaves that they are alot of amber trichs on it to me..i have got mold plenty of times being a guerilla grower but from the pics i cant really tell to be honest on urs..if it is mold starting to form in a few days u will see a grey patch that looks like a spider has spun a web inside ur bud.. if it is mold cut off the affected parts about a quater inche below the infected part and buy some greencure and put on ur plant..thats what i have done and it works..once infected the bud will not be curable from my exp but the greencure will stop the mold from spreading to other parts of ur plant.

Im with miloans on this one. Buy a 40-60x handheld microscope and look at the leaves, looks to me like russet mites. If you see a wormlike larvae slowly wriggling (looks like tan colored dust or particles to the naked eye when they colonize). If so you have your work cut out for you man, took me a year to fully rid myself of them and unless you want to smoke dead (or live) larvae it will make your harvest worthless. Act fast, grab a microscope, and if its larvae reply to this message. I tried azamax, no spider mites, captain jacks deadbug and even systemics and nothing touched the little bastards.. Except for one. Suprisingly enough you can grab it at walmart. Its made by GardenTech and its called WorryFree. Ius used for fruits and veggies and can be applied up until the day of harvest (wouldnt recommend it at all, but its kosher). Either way that WorryFree kills over 250 species of eggs, larvae, and insects. Hope this helps
