Hi there I have a 15 pot IWS setup and I'm worried that in the bottom of my pots there is water sitting in them constantly not a lot but I'm scared that the roots are going to try chasing the water down the pipes. I am turning the inner pots 45 degrees every few days and I have stands and copper disks but how can I stop the water from sitting in the bottom? I want it to drain completely. Help please

Roots do chase the flow, and block stuff up, many guys insert a grill to avoid this,
but then have to keep an eye on that very grill, your idea of turning the pot is 'GREAT'
as all the plants will benefit from maximum lux, and avoid morphing (leaning one side into light)
avoid worrying about the roots in water so long as its not too deep, they won't drown
no water means they may well dry out ...thats a serious issue!!

Ok I'll just stick to that then thanks for your help.
Right when I last changed my resivoir of my IWS which was nearly two weeks ago (I'm changing and cleaning again this Saturday) I set the EC to 1.3 and PH to 5.8. the PH hasn't really fluctuated much but my EC as now gone down to 1.0 so that means plants have had 0.3 EC of food. When I clean resivoir and top up should I keep the EC at 1.3 or raise it a little?
The plants are nearly 5 weeks old from germination and in full vegative growth.
I've already topped them all and I'm going to supercrop them Saturday leave it a week or two then switch to flower does this sound a good plan?

can never be too careful. Do you guys switch to blooming fertiliser before you switch the photoperiod? Also what's your view on root pruning?
