Hey Fellow RIU'ers!

Here is my Jack on Day 43 of flowering! I am using 1 90w UFO and 1 135w LED UFO. it seems to me that my plant is way behind and pretty small for day 43..am I wrong? I am using Botanicare Bloom at almost full strength with a tablespoon of molasses per gallon of water.

I am new to growing and this is my second grow. I am wondering if I am under watering my plant? when I water it with a gallon jug I use about 32 oz or a quarter gallon of water at a time and re water about every third day. my bagseed that I grew with the 1st time seemed to be much larger buds at this point.

thanks for the help!

Need to know what type of light and medium your using too. Not very much to go on there. She's still a good looking bud man. Is she really dense ? Takes a lot of seeds and plants that you have to grow out to find that killer pheno sometimes unless you get lucky.

thanks for the reply! I am using a 90w UFO 135w UFO and 2 23w CFL's(side lighting) and medium is lamberts organic. the top bud sites are dense but all the sites below are small popcorn even when I have my plant tied down for an even canopy.

This breed will be part of my Crop #4. I think that those buds look great.

...and they should be getting much crustier with time.

Good luck,

JD

Looks ok to me for your second grow. My first couple went to hell because of over-fert and heat issues so at least you have that going for you. I'm not experienced with LED lighting (as a lot of people still aren't) so perhaps if you post in the LED lighting section as well, people who are a bit more familiar with the UFO LED's can let you know if you're on par with those.

Also, a lot of strains don't really put it on until the last couple weeks anyways, so my advice is to let it go as long as is needs based on the trichrome development and not what the seed packet says for flowering time. Looks to me you have a couple weeks to go yet, as most of the hairs haven't even changed yet.

Keep doing what you're doing and be patient! Won't be long now!

Also, you'll want to think about your flush soon, as most people start this around 2 weeks before the chop. If you're not familiar, start reading about flushing your plants for better flavor/curing. This uses up the reserve nutrients that your plants have stored in them so the taste of them doesn't carry through to the end product.
