THE number ONE bud last year....... seems to be also one of the best medical strains !
Good luck... 125gr per plant is just not enough unless i was grown for my self !
I just ordered from Pick N Mix seeds... for something to compare with JACK, I got
Skunk #1, blueberry, blue cheese, uk cheese, lemon skunk ! -

I have jack going that I got clones from cali. Little temperamental as I am running 5 different strains at once but doing fine. They get very tall. Also bought some from the grower and wow talk about needing the couch for a little while. Can't wait until mine are done.:bigjoint:

It's been a few years now since I last smoked some straight Jack Herer. I've been smoking Jack Flash for a year and can hardly remember what kind of high the Jack Herer gives! bongsmilie

:leaf:Update:leaf:
So the plant has been re-potted and now is in a new home. She is loving the 600W of HPS. Last night I pulled 11 clones from the bottom of the plant. Im going to give her one more week of veg and then I will start flowering.

At the beginning of flower I will feed her bushmaster to stop all vertical growth. The dosage will be super low. About a 1/4 tsp to one quart of water.

So far the clones are looking happy, hopefully in about 10 days I will start to see some roots pooping out.

I've never used that Bushmaster stuff before; does it work pretty well?

Everything looks good by the way.

bushmaster is awesome! it stops all vertical growth for the plant. I use it at the beginning of flower to help the plant transition easier as well..its supposed to save two weeks..no stretching

Hmmm. Looks good on paper, but is this stuff good for the plants? Does it take heavy chemical inhibitors to stop a plant from growing toward a light source? I really do like the idea though, if it's safe and happy for the girls...

Interesting thread on Bushmaster vs. Rock Juice here.

Says the BM might not allow for the same resin production rate?

"It's full name is Rock Flower Juice. It is only sold in Australia, although you could get it shipped to another country because it doesn't list PGRs on the label. Rock Flower Juice, just like Bush Master, Superbud, Phosphoload etc, contains anti-gibberellin PGRs. In addition to PGRs Rock Flower Juice contains naturally occuring cytokinins, gibberellins and auxins from seaweed extract, along with silica and organic acids. This is probably why some growers have reported better results with Rock Juice. When using Bush Master or other PGR products, you should use it in combination with kelp extract for the cytokinins and silica for the bud rot immunity. Possibly some humic acid aswel. So long as you do this, results will be atleast as good as those found with Rock Juice. The makers of Bush Master even advise using kelp extract with Bush Master."

Guess it boils down to whether or not you feel comfortable with the hormone/resin trade-off in order to get the shorter compact buds.

CYCOCEL 77A is a growth regulator which promotes flower formation and increases the berry set and yield of wine grapes and increase setting of currants.

Recommended Uses To increase the berry set and yield of wine grapes and increase setting of currants
.Advantages Increases the number of berries per bunch. Improves skin to total fruit ratio.
Benefits Improved colour of red wines. Increases yield.
Mode of Action CYCOCEL 77A is a growth regulator which inhibits cell elongation, hence shorthening and strengthening the stem and producing a sturdier plant. Also, influences the developmental cycle, leding to increased flowering and harvest.
Chemical Group PGR
General InstructionsMixing
Thoroughly mix the product with hard or soft water at the rates shown, then add wetter.
The product should be applied only to vigorous vines growing under good conditions and capable of carrying an increased crop.
This applies particularly to Muscat Gordo Blanco. As many factors affect yield of grapes, the use of CYCOCEL 77A may not always result in increased fruit production.

I'll buy a litre of the Rock Flower Juice for my next round, use it in one of the flood trays with a separate reservoir to see what difference can be discerned. Side by side pics and comparison will have to wait another eight weeks or so, but I'll be sure to post them. Seems like a staple of the SOG community...
