Im looking to see whos grown JH. I know theres a lot of you that have so I am hoping ill get some good info :)
My JH is about 15 days old, it was topped but its now got 6 tops.. My only issue with that is it its stretched out much more then my other strains. Ive also got BCBD God Bud and they are not stretchy at all, im guessing its just the JH is more sativa hybrid whereas the God Bud is much more indica?

Both JH and the GB are from BCBD, but i would like to know if anyone else whos grown out some JH noticed that theres stretched out a bit after as well.
All of them are female seeds and under a 600w MH, tent is 4L x 2W x 4H, cooltube and carbon filter hooked up to the 200cfm fan with another window blowing cold air in. Multiple runs with this set up and all good results, just not happy to see the JH so stretched :(

ya Jack herrer definitely has some sativa according to Neville it came from a really good cut he found in Super Silver Haze that Ben got ahold of while Neville was in jail. But the true lineage was never released and it wouldn't be the first time neville was talking out his ass about strains. but I see your problem your growing a short indica beside a stretchy haze hybrid. you should have researched the strains a bit first whenever I grow them stretchy girls they have their own light but you can tie down the branches to be more level with the canopy, or you can put your JH in a veg room and take cuts and flower the clones nice and small.

I knew the GB didnt stretch much at all in flower and that it was a nice short indica, but i didnt expect the JH to stretch in veg.. I will be doing some LST for all the plants this run but im more than likely going to have to top the JH at least once more.
Not really able to get much info on BCBD genetics.. I know theyve got a bad rep, but i actually have never had any issue with them or their genetics ever. Ive definitely made mistakes and F'ed up a few plants that was from BCBD, but nothing that was BCBDs fault.

I know how you feeling. I also grow in a short tent myself (5 foot tent)but
with plants like that that stretch soooo much in veg I just chop and
toss. Lol not saying you should but that thing is gonna be hell when you
flip the lights. But I wish you well :) or just clone it and put the cuttings
in 12/12 as soon as the root

Lol yeah this is going to be a difficult task! The God Bud has almost no stretch at all, not even in flower so they need a long veg time.. I may have to cut the entire JH plant into clones when the GB is two weeks from going into flower and put all of them into small containers.
Im hoping the LST will save me from having to do that though but we will see soon enough i guess.

That's the only reason I haven't did the jackherrer yet cease I thought
it would get to big. I know it's killer smoke tho , you're gonna have to
LTS the shit outta that thing . If you grow it right you will get a huge yield out of it :)

I recently had some JH and i loved it so when i got free seeds of it i wasnt gonna wait lol. I know this work will be rewarded well so ill definitely stay on top of it. Right now shes got 6 tops and im thinking i can top each of those for clones and keep her nice and short. Will do half the plant at a time so i dont stress her out to much.

I'm in a 4' space and mostly keep plants short enough through training. I let one go this time because it had been topped for four and was still small when I flowered it, that was a mistake.

LST will see you through OP. Who's JH is it?

Its from BC Bud Depot. Never had any issues with them and i have used them a few times now. Not able to get to much info for the bcbd JH :(

Not an easy strain to grow bro. Next time you might want to start you jack in flower a few weeks earlier than your god bud, letting your god bud veg an extra couple weeks to have them finish around the same time and similar height. Also bending is usually the best technique for training jack. Also if you go organic....you want to use some compost and teas not fert from liquids from bottle organic ferts. Teas are gonna be more gentle and easier to assimilate. Just remember you might have to do a few runs to get it right, cause its a strain that takes time to master to get top quality jack, otherwise its just mediocre jack. Its a good strain with spicy sweet tropical flavors, tons of resin, good bud structure and good solid stones n highs, depending on your pheno. Good luck bro

Good advice. I do pretty well with my set up so im confident ill get some nice stuff, but like any strain, it does take some time to dial it in.

Depends on the pheno. There is a 50-55 day Jack pheno that is very nice. Granny Purp had that cut for a bit bro.

Yea.....i did notice the occasional 6 - 8 weeker. Also crossed it to my sour diesel cut, which is pretty fast, and it actually made it finish faster! Trippy.
Maybe it depends on who you get it from? I heard a while back, that because of the haze father, that it was very difficult to further breed, and that each subsequent generation gets weaker and weaker. But i might be thinking of another strain....anyway i'm gonna see how it further breeds, and pick up a new pack from sensi, and see if i can find better pheno's, and for comparisin, and future breeding.
I think there are potentially some serious nutz ones if you get very very lucky.

hopefully BCBD has some good genetics from it and i can score something nice :)
I am a bit worried for this grow as ive wanted to do GB for years and years now but i just heard that its 2.0 god bud and not likely gonna find the original cup winning pheno :s
