Jack the Ripper....... Breeding Thread

whats up subcool....im currently growing jack the ripper right now. possibly you can identify her and tell me a little more about your experience with this strain. i am comparing one jtr in soil and the other in coco coir. soil plan was doing much better at first but coco coir has since caught up and exceeded in size. here are a few pictures. ive been getting little balls of this resin looking shit comming out of the stem. is this normal?

cococoir is on left and soil is on right.

subcool is awesome ima order some seeds when iget some money on a card, is there a better place to order without euros, is it from europe? i am on public computer so icant do all the research id like kudos and best wishes +karma lol

I bought a pack a JTR seeds for this outdoor season and they sprouted just the other day. One of them had two sprouts coming out of it, which ii hear is somewhat common with these genes. I'm now wondering what the best thing would be to do. Would it be fine to let them both grow or will one be much weaker and die off? Thanks.

Great Job Sub, smoked some from the local dispense and it was great. It was outdoor but every bright green with a very good lemon pledge flavor.

Subcool, you should get all of those breeding thread linked to the TGA website or something, not everybody has RIU and even those on RIU dont have access to all of those. I know evey one i came across i've bookmarked...

Peace!

2 Jack the Ripper's one grown in a 21L DWC bucket and the other in a 4L pot with coco coir. Both were put into 12/12 when they were about 4 / 5 inches tall. Been growing in soil for the past few years and wanted a change, so it was a choice between DWC (which I've done many times before a few years back) or Coco Coir (which I've never used before). Now after a very short period of 12/12 for both plants, 11 days for the DWC and 22 days for the Coco, I'm absolutely amazed at the difference between these 2 grow methods. The DWC method makes the plant grow like it's on steroids and really unusual is the fact of how bushy it's gone, whereas the little girl in the coco, although looking very healthy just doesn't show the vigor that the little girl in the DWC shows. Think i'll be choosing DWC over Coco ;-)
