Whats happenin Aevi that JTR is lookin great, hows it comin? I think your gonna start lovin the coco more and more as you go, after the first time I ran it its become my favorite medium ta grow in. I dont know how you run it but Ive done some testing and a 1 to 5 mix of chunky to fine coco works way better than either by themselves. Ive been having great results running that mix with 10-20% perlite and adding about 20% worm castings has really helped bring out the flavors of any herb I grow! Not sure how you water either but Ive increased my yields a lot by consantly keeping the coco moist and not letting it dry out in betwen waterings! Sounds wierd I know but it works!
Oh yea I dont know if you have any pics of those "resin balls" or not but are you sure theyre not male pods????
If not I have no idea what they could be, Ive never seen thick resin build up on stems or stalks before!

How much super soil do you use with Jack the Ripper?

i really want this strain!!!! i just made an order with attitude to get the 3 free Third Dimension seeds, and the 3 free Jack The Ripper seeds too!!!! 2/3 third dimension germinated, and only 1/3 of the JTR.... I'm soooooooooo hoping and praying for females~ if i dont get females, im gonna make another order. Has anyone else had problems with germination? Out of my entired order those 3 seeds and 1 other are the only ones that didnt germ i REALLY want these strains! especially the JTR!

JTR dosn't open that easily as the shells are massive in size but its rare we have complaints about germing as all seeds are hand sorted.
Recently in CO I had growers coming up to me with reports of 3000 seeds germed and only 3 not opening.
Sometimes a JTR seed will need help shedding its hull.

How long have they been moist?

Hey Sub picked up some JTR beans at the Cow Palace they will be going outside. Thanks for having them available I will keep a journal on here of the grow. Will start the seeds tomorrow for sure. Thanks i like the hat you had on.

wow, what an amazing plant. What nutrients were used?

I grew 15 different strains this year and Jack the Ripper was the best; beating out such strains as Vanilla Kush, OG Kush #18, etc. Thank you for this amazing plant, I've never seen so much frosting in my life

I just cracked 20 of these wonderful beans and had a 100% germination rate in about a day and a half, pretty quick if you ask me. Great work Sub my hat's off to you! The funny thing is i got 21 beautiful little plants, 2 plants came out of one seed! How is this possible, has anyone ever heard of this befor ???

No. That's fuckin crazy man. I'd like to hear from Sub on that one.

Q: Anyone growin JTR with high CO2 levels? What was your max ppm>>???

Yes, it is fairly common with the Jack The Ripper Genetics I think. I had a Kaboom Seed send up two plants from one seed. Good luck!

Hey Sub everything u write is beyond informative. Just read ur article "The Color Purple" and your" Jack Herer The Plant" article. I have been spending the last two months trying to find everything you have published for about two months now. I was wondering which phenotype of the JTR is most predominantly seen in the five packs. I, as i'm sure many are, am looking for the Pink Lemonade phenotype. And another question is do you recommend LSTing for this strain? I would rather not top if it already has slow vegetatian. Any help is beyond appreciated.

Sadly, I had to kill my last clone cuz i was getting a divorce recently. (didnt want the fembot to get any bright ideas about callin the cops on me out of spite)

But I wish I hadnt now cuz she was cool about the whole thing. I even had a whole closet crop full 3 weeks from harvest that I cut down and threw away out of prudence


rememeber when in doubt, chop it down and throw it away. its not worth the risk of opening yourself up to government persecution by the unamerican forces of anti-freedom in America,

anyway, now in my new place i built this sick ass secret locking tall cab, like 7ft tall about with 400watter cool tube filter and automatic release fire extiguister.(link below)

anyway I gotta get me some Subcool strain again. this time I need one of the higher yeilders since my new op is a tall cabinet used to grow 1 plant only but to massive size.

I hope to pull atleast 8 ozs every 2 months from it.


im a one plant grower now since I live in a cannabis oppressed state. They will never be able to clip me too hard as as I have no priors and I am an asset to society with a deadly lawyer

Sorry to hear how ur last crop turned out. My aim is start some jtr indoor in march and put which ever pheno looks best outside to be one monster of abitch

We are growing Jack The Ripper and we have what looks like calyx growth on a fan leaf any idea on what is going on?

Got the same thing going on, also had the little buds on the fan leaves on some Pandora's Box.

my pandoras did this as well. i think its a mutation. i also think there might be a correlation between that and a higher possibility of herming, although i could be way off base.
