I'm sorry to say this, but what?

You think people of colour were more absent from the voting station you went to that can be an observation that you made. But how can you begin to assume that they were "noticeably absent" from all voting stations? I don't really understand what you're saying here. Unless you were being satirical and I didn't get the joke.
Your maple leaf is showing. ;):peace::-P

Ya know it's whatever, he got elected and youre a citizen therefore he's your prez...its not exciting or ideal to me either.
that must have been why you were ecstatic about it as it was happening, twopumpchump.

neo-nazi white supremacists like you were his most loyal supporters and his most targeted base.

you are a bot

Note how this idiot's program takes common phrases and combines them without intelligence. "Ya know it's whatever" is a meaningless phrase that just fills up space. The program then goes on to say what exactly? "he got elected" and "youre (sic) a citizen". Nonsense phrases strung together to look like a person said it. RIU should ban this bot without consideration.

You are a bot.

Not a jot of intelligence in its words. Just jumbled phrases. It's cute how the programmer intentionally causes the bot to misspell words.
I should add that RIU mods should ban this clumsy attempt at a troll-bot without consideration.

In fairness I think a lot of minorities stayed away. Think about it, uphold the status quo (which still sucks for minorities) or vote in a an orange corn husk of a man.

Also gerrymandering disenfranchising black and Latino voters.

Still pushing the russia thing in spite of what happened in syria, sad. Keep clinging to that though.
what happened in syria?

ya mean, trump calling up putin in advance so that he could let assad know? then they moved all their planes and no damage was done and they flew missions from that air strip the very next day?

are you literally mentally retarded?

That would be a victory for right wing propaganda, don't you think?

I agree that people of color have every reason to be dissatisfied with the status quo. On the other hand, it would be false to equate the "status quo" in 2016 with where the US is being led by "an orange corn husk of a man". Witness the Muslim Ban, the crackdown of ICE on Latino families, including the fear they now generate among that community and witness the budget items that will disproportionately affect people in lower income brackets.

If dissatisfaction with the status quo is the reason why fewer African Americans and Hispanics voted in 2016 then isn't that more of a victory of right wing propaganda than a rational decision after the facts have been given? Because the status quo after that orange husk of a man is gone will be much worse for everybody and as usual, the worst of the effect will be felt by people of color. Would that be a rational choice?
