think it has a few methods in my post some info from choempii right after.

basically you just have to figure out what part of the mushroom you going to use and use it instead of spores.

its just a regular plastic tub. I cut a few holes in it, one decent size hole in each side. I ended up taping over the holes on the broad sides. Ive stopped opening it as much, now only about twice a day. The cakes are both in a dunk again. I'll re-roll them in the morning and put them back. The humidity is staying at about 95%

I pulled the two nice ones off and set them in a dark cupboard on a paper towel. I picked off the 8 little aborts whos heads had turned black and ate them. I'm gonna go ahead and eat another dry gram just for kicks. A nice trip to lay in a dark quiet room with.

There is also a 65watt 6500K cfl floodlight above the tank that is on for 5 or so hours every night. As it is the lid is transparent but it's dark green, I'm not sure what that does to the light spectrum that gets through.

Finally have a nice pinset rocking up on the nexus cake, 2nd flush of the Z cake coming in as well. B+ jar is about 60-70% colonized. I'll take some pics tonight.

It's hard to make t hem all out in the pics, but there are at least 22 pins formed on the nexus cake. Several on the Z cake.

this should be fun to watch... :bigjoint:

Just a heads up be careful when eating aborts. If you pick them too late and they have started to rot they can be bad for you. If the cap comes off fairly easy it might be rotten. As long as you dont eat alot of them you should be fine. Just make sure to pick them once you notice they stop growing

It seems to me that the quality of the flush is contingent upon the amount of water the cake is holding when the flush is initiated. The flush seems to end when the cake expends its reserve of water. They seem to be light and airy by the time the mushrooms are ready to come off.

Which mushrooms will be abort isn't appearant until a day or two after the pins set when it seems like the mycelium decides what its reserve will support.

most people like to harvest before the veil breaks so you dont get the spores everywhere, and they say potency goes down the older they are, kinda a line between yield and potency.

Ate about 3 grams maybe 25 min ago... Colors are more intense... my stomach is nervous... my palms and feet are sweating.... mild closed eye visuals... maybe 10-15 more minutes.

Here we go..
