I would do 6 weeks then flip, if youre worried about height, 4 weeks then flip. If height isnt an issue and you are a confident madlad, give it 8 to 10 weeks and do some light training. Topping is easy enough. Here is my first grow, 6 weeks of veg w/ topping. got about 3 gallons from 3 plants20211011_143558.jpg

It depends on how many plants you have, the growth speed of their genetics, and if you train them or not. Typically 4 to 8 weeks though. The more plants the less time is probably the most important rule. Scrogging or LST can be used to slow down the veg cycle.

What size of area you working with? Lxwxh? How many plants you want to grow? This will determine your starting point

Depends on a lot of things but most importantly light. Put them under some underpowered piece of junk, or several underpowered pieces of junk, and it will require 8 weeks just to get something worth flipping.

Everyone has everything planned as far as strain and nutes and usually medium and tent size. Then they ask what kind of light would work best. Wrong order of importance.

Think first what kind of light. Important in photosynthesis.

I'm pushing about 730 umol under grow area (⁴x⁴), and direct about 770 at ²²in. I fimed 1 plant and topped the other. This is what I have a week ⁶ of veg. I also took the advice of another jedi and I've been pulling oversized fans aggressively. Alice is hurting and virginia loves everything. I've always had outdoor, and at the mercy of my environment and neighbors. I guess maybe the grass is greener across the street.
