Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

Ok great, I just read this entire thread only to find my question answered, so with this line is everyone pretty much reccomending to go heavy on the nutes, what about adding the biothrive grow all the way thru like jerry said, could we get all the deets on your feeding regimen, do you ever adjust or check ph or ppms, also do you use the biomarine and at what levels same with diamon black? And does the biomarine smell like the bottle says?

yea im in the same boat obviously, thought i had a lockout but now im thinking under nuted them. im really curious about this too. do you use grow and bloom at heavy strength?

Love this plant. Going to be awesome. What's more awesome is the next generation that just started flower...but we're focusing on just this one today.

Nice tahoe jerry, was thinking of that or blackwater once I get the room goin with clones and have time to start a seeding project. Right now I'm just filling it up as much as possible. What size pot are you using and what's you average dry per plant, like on the heavy and light sides?

I just feed heavy unless a certain plant doesn't like it, in which case I back it down. I give BioThrive Grow all the way through about week 7 of flower, obviously using less towards the end. I never exceed 4 teaspoons grow/bloom combined per feeding, and I adjust the ratio depending on plant stage (early in flower I give 3 grow/1 bloom, towards the middle 2 grow/2 bloom, etc).

I never check or adjust pH or ppm or anything. I filter my water with a brita filter, mix up the nutrients by the gallon and feed slowly. Have yet to try the BioMarine as I have to finish my bottle of Neptune's first. The Diamond Black I give 2 teaspoons per gallon, every feeding.

7x7x9 white pots (1.5 gallon I think) and 10x10x10 white pots (3.5 gallon I think...you can do the math and figure it out). Dry weight varies, usually around 1.5-2oz for the smaller pots, more for the larger.

thats one sexy mother Jerry

Thanks Westy!

damn jerry, should be a nice harvest haha. looking foward to spacequeen #3 . all the tahoes are ridiculous. again, well done :joint: farmer

Harvest should be fun fun indeed. I give the Sours and Tahoes about another 5 days to a week.

Space Queen #3 could still be male. I'll begin flowing all the SQ, Querkle, and the NYC Diesel when I start harvesting the OG's.

Thats a huge top on that Sour #4, I bet its rock hard too. :D The smokey pic.

Yeah Sour #4 really impressed me towards the end here. I call it the Brain Bud because it looks like a brain...sort of, if you're really high, which judging by the smoke in the pic I was!

Unfortunately both Sour's are pretty OG dominant, so I won't be keeping either. I ordered some Cali Connection Sour Diesel the other day...did I mention that already?...and I've already got the Reserva Privada Sour Diesel's, so I'm going to let the Sour OG's go after only 2 generations. I will be keeping Tahoe #3 for at least a 3rd generation, as I just cloned it today, along with the NYCD and Sharksbreath.

Dude looking good, and I'm sub'd.

How did that Afgan kush turn out I might of missed it..

Welcome HotPhyre :leaf:

The Afghan turned out great. Very smooth smoke and heavy indica stone. I actually prefer it out of a bowl to the vaporizer, which is pretty rare these days. I would definitely recommend it. And I'm interested to try more from World of Seeds...namely another landrace strain.

Nice brotha!! Ya i have a afgan kush going right now, it was from a dispen. but a reputable guy sold it to me.

Only 2 weeks into flowering today!!

I will be updating tonight

I have had powdery mildew for a few months now and can't get the shit gone...
In veg. its now problem but in late flower it's unbelievable!!
I grow organically so I have been spraying with milk, straight high alkaline tap water, sulfur water and compost tea.
It helps, but only for a couple of days, then it's right back heavy!
I have tried lowering humidity to less them 20% and preading the plants out for more light penitration.
But its getting the best of me!! very frustrating!!

If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it very much.

Smoke on...

i am at day 12 flower and have caught what i think is pm in its early stages. i have hit my plants with H202 at 4 tblsp to a quart the first time and a 1pt H2o2 to 3pt water solution the second time. yesterday i pulled all the plants out and cleaned the tent. i have the exhaust going full go all the time to keep humidity down it has been just under 40% lately. i have also been letting the room run a litte hotter (low 80's( b/c i heard the mildew has more trouble growing in the hotter temps. i ordered greencure the other day in case it gets any worse.

Sorry guys, don't have much experience with the powdery mildew. I think I had it once, but I don't remember what I did to get rid of it...neem oil applied to both sides of the leaves with a q-tip...or it may have been something besides neem.

Maybe you should try increasing your air circulation...get a couple oscillating fans or something to keep air moving.

yea like jerry says the only way to get rid of it and keep it away is to increase airflow and try and keep your humidity down so it cant start in the first place. but once you have it is really hard to get rid of, bc it lives inside the plant and the powdery mildew you see on the outside of the plant is the flowering pat of the mildew. its tuff bc it thrives in the same conditions as MJ.
