jock horror not branching???

so i had intended to sog jock horror from clones but im noticing that during veg they arn't really branching , at least not enough to cut clones from even at 12in, has anyone had any experience with this strain and taking clones? after talking to my hydro shop guy, he said it might just be the genetics, cause my two ladies in flowering branched like crazy durning the first two weeks but they stayed short durning veg, his only advice he gave me was to top them and see what that does for the branching. so anyone with exp, please chime in.

Bend them over.( Make sure its top is lower than at least one of its branches.) This will change the plants hormones and confuse it as to where its top bud is. It will then treat all branches as equal top flower sites. Great way to get them to branch in veg. IMO Much Love.

yeah thats what i was thinking as well, we'll see how it goes the next week or two.
