The bad news is I thought I was growing DJ shorts ,Blue Moonshine.
The good news is the Moonshines are safe in their vial because I grabbed the wrong vial out of the fridge and have been caring for Jordan of the Islands, God Bud plants that I thought were moonshines.
You see the Moonshines never went purple on me in the 2 years I was playing with them.. but now all 6 of these have beautiful purple hues running through the leaves and alot of the Calyx are purple. The cola shape is similar to the moonshine being fat and rounded and low more like tightly packed golf balls than high tapered buds. Classic indica candalabra formation, plants stand about 24" above the soil line and are 53 days into flowering. Promix BX, DNF bloom and MonsterBloom in 1 gallon pots. Rough guesstimate is that they are 2 weeks from harvest with yellowing starting at the bottoms now.
I can't find alot of information on the God bud but from what I see.. it looks like it could be a keeper.. I have about 6 outside guerilla style... anyone know if these do good in Southern Ontario?
P.s.. No photos because I dont know how to post em' and stay annonymous and untracked. I would like someone to positively I.D them though as God bud.
