But, we did that on purpose. The problem with Progressives is they are do-gooders.

The entire premise is we are suppose to do good in this world. And that is not in the Constitution. We have no need to do good. We have a need for long term security and you don't know what that means. Saddam was harboring AL Q. with his devil's deal with the Sunni Tribes. And we wanted to fuck with Saudi by letting him get into Kuwait. It worked. We let ISIL form to further intimidate Saud. It worked.

WE are protecting ourselves. Blame Bush didn't do anything, that Blame Kennedy didn't do, in Nam.

At the the time, I too was a do-gooder. And I rioted based on the Principle that we were not good for Viet Nam. We all thought Viet Nam was only about oil and that it was all fine until we got there.

But, just like Iraq, Nam was not fine until we got there. And in the end Nam is what Nixon used to open China for trade.

The world is not about doing good. It is about protecting ourselves.

Reality check for you: Resources humans need to live are nowhere even close to scarce. Artificial scarcity is created by those who want war to further consolidate generalized control. You think this is protecting you. This is in fact actually going to destroy you.
