Lmao that is the original ideal form some dude in holland. he has a balcony with allot of wind. so he does that on purpose and he gets huge main stem also. That is a good thing brother. see when he does it his roots also go wide since he uses a shollw pot and then it becomes wind proof. and oh yeah nice plant bro.
Great minds think alike J... lol. Actually I can't claim any foresight, it just happened by chance. When I transplanted the root ball it was about an inch above the soil surface and I just left it that way knowing the plant would adapt. I think it has helped with oxygenation, especially after the dunk. A pic of the JillyBean roots to illustrate it...
