I am a Fibromyalgia and PTSD sufferer and have been for years now. I am always losing and regaining insurance because of Gov Kasich's constant need to try and "fix the deficit". I fought through my joint and muscle pain and double dug out my own garden and transported a few clones outdoors, hoping to save a lot of money I could otherwise use for important things. I kept a plant inside to flower and it looked to be doing well. A couple weeks after flowering I noticed a male pollen sack and was quick to off the fan and grab some small scissors. I delicately castrated my plants male buds.
Soon after this my outdoor plants were looking good so I wasn't too worried. These plants were getting quite big and had lived through many storms. I was going to go out and fertilize a little and was quite shocked, devastated, and furious that most of the vegetation on all of my 5 plants had been eaten off. I surrounded remaining stalks with few leaves in a high chicken wire and tried to calm myself as best I could. I mean this stuff is really important medicine to me.
It happened again a week or two later right when I thought they were recovering nicely. Now the Herm plant is doing worst than ever with these pollen sacks and my outdoor crop was almost wiped out altogether. I couldn't keep up cutting the pollen out and I never interrupted light or stressed my plants to cause this. I am guessing genetics, they were bagseed after all. So now I am here with a semi-done flowering half-male ugly ass mofo plant.
A helpful person on the forum instructed me to make hash or hash oil from this plant. I need to know how much longer should I wait before chopping this sucker down, cleaning my grow area, and starting fresh with ordered seeds? I have to balance out how much more damage these male flowers are doing to my plant with how well the remaining female parts mature.
I don't know what to do and this plant probably wont have saved me any money in the long run. What a waste. Ohio needs medical marijuana fast.
When should I harvest to make hash oil based on these ugly pictures everyone?
