I grow chronic isnt really the best either, all the grow videos are good but there doesnt seem to be a perfect one, until I make one lol. Marmarb sounds like you got a good idea of what your gonna do, are you goin with soil or hydro?

I've only done soil grows sad part is never gotten to flower I've got photos o shit I've growwn on here but current grow gonna toss into flower about 6 inches tall already at 6 nodes under cfl's rotcodnatas I'm interested in hydro just alittle spooked out hydro since soil is more forgiving

Its not as scary as you think. As long as you keep your Ph in check you wont have to many problems. One thing i like about hydro is that when your flowering it seems that plants tolerate higher amounts of nutrients than in soil, at least thats been my experience. Also ive had bad luck with soil so i prefer hydro, not that i have anything against soil. Actually i considered doing an organic grow a while ago, but ive decided to do a small SOG grow in rockwool using an ebb flow system. How far will the 600 penetrate had a grand idea as I'm flowering first three I'll talk 12 clones frome each mother pant and throw them in the mix 2 weeks later 2 weeks of veg time to get strong root system goin also will b using fem seeds. I hear the farthest an HID light will penetrate efficiantly is 3ft, could be less for a 600w. Jorge Cervantes uses the formula lumens/distance=intensity in his book. So we'll say our 600w bulb has an initial 80,00 lumens and its 2ft from the top of the canopy, that means the top of plants are recieving 40,000 lumens. I can't say how accurate that formula is but its the only one ive read about. I'm sure if searched you could find other possibly more accurate ways of measuring. A light meter would be useful in this situation.
How much per plant are you shooting for? In my future setup want to get an oz. per plant x 16 plants, so a pound of primo bud every harvest. Not sure yet on the strain have to find out what clones i can get. What strain are you getting?

i just figure a 1/4 would serve my needs well ends up being half lb every two week im sure i'd end up with more than i need but thats the min id harvest n not bitch lol i figure first run 24 clones and 3 full plants half a oz each would put me at 13 oz if they all give me a half oz guessin i could easily do a oz each but since first major run not gonna set goal too high strains will be nlights x big bud white widow
