Hey everyone,
This is my 2nd grow journal on this site. I recently teamed up with another CO medical patient and will be doing 6 Papaya ladies in a SOG type grow. Last time I did 3 plants and vegged for 5 weeks or so and they filled the space. The plan this time is veg 1 to 2 weeks and then flower all 6 of them. My setup is as follows:
Lumatek 400w ballast
w/MH for veg
& Hortilux eye hps bulb for flower
6" HO can fan and can 33 carbon filter for exhaust/ light cooling and 2 inline duct booster fans at the bottom of the space for active intake
Cooltube reflector.
Clones were rooted by a friend in a bubbleponic cloner and transfered to party cups for veg. They will be transfered to larger square containers just before flower is induced.
I will be using FFOF soil and their line of nutes including the soluables.
These pics were taken the day of transfer (3 days ago). They are over the shock and starting to show some growth now. Last night i noticed some spider mite damage, so I hit them with a organic miticide meant for seedlings/clones. I also manually removed as many as i could from under the leave. To further combat this I have been spraying them with water a few times a day to keep the humidity up. i had this problem at the beginning of my last grow and this treatment seemed to do the trick. Below are some pics of the clones as well as the setup. Feel free to comment about anything and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always welcome.
Cheers
JP
