Just bought seeds, is it really "too late" to plant them in the season?

I got 5 seeds, and I do not care about my yield because I have other plants going and I just want to experiment with how tough these seeds are. I bought Bubblelicious feminized seeds from Nirvana and I am curious as to how late I can plant these in California (valley)
it is still about 90 degrees and I expect my seeds in a week, if I veg these for a week inside then stick em outside, how long into October will these last?

(I am only planting 2-3 depending on what people tell me, the others go into storage)

I 100% believe these seeds are going to give me atleast an ounce, but my homie are telling me they are going to die. With a proper root system and a 5 gallon bucket, I think these babies will blast off (they are known to grown vigorously (thats what it says, lol)). I have been thinking of using MG soil, but I just realized 2 of my fan leaves on one plant, have two leaves, one under the other, attached to one stem. (the only fucked up part is the bottom leaf isnt a leaf, it is just 3 long retard leaves...) So I will be buying Fox Farms brand. '

Any opinions would be nice. (I am really looking for answers on how cold you think it will get during the nights in october and november, I mean I have seen pictures of plants burried in snow, dug out the next day, and they sprang back to life, 32 degrees outside, no precautions taken, except shovels, although the plants were 5-6 feet tall)

Has anyone had good results with these seeds?

We've been having a late summer and most likely a late winter here in the valley. Seems like your gonna do it either way so I say try, you got the seeds already. I would recommend just getting a light and growing them indoor, but I dont know your situation, just my .02 cents.

Save them for next season or start an indoor grow. Trust me man I know its hot in the valley right now but if it cools up your fucked.

I have decided to only plant one saving the other 4, depending on if I can help my urges to plant two, just in case one dies for some stupid ass reason. The thing about the light, is I can barely afford running 3 68 watt cfls for 24 hours. My power bill is +1000 some how... It says right where I bought them, that it is nearly impossible to kill these things, if I notice a fucked up light cycle I revert them back to veg, and try to perm veg them and sell the clones to clubs. At this point I am waiting for my early christmas (the arrival of my seeds).

here is my next question.....
The use of Mr. Clean floor sponges (not the magic erasers, these things look like basic shitty sponges you buy from Costco or something... I rinsed them thoroughly and soaked them in water, washed them with dishwasher soap, then rinsed some more. I cut 4 2'' by 2'' squares, put them in medical vials under my lights. I follow a water, rinse cycle every 6-13 hours. I took 4 bag seeds from the shittiest weed on the planet, planted them in 4 of these cubes (after germinating) and in the next 1-3 days they all have spouted. Does anyone know if this is a bad idea? Does anyone think I am an idiot and no matter how many times I rinse a mr. clean sponge, he will still always be cleaning?!?!? CHEMICALS FTW! lol.

Forgot to add they are the kind that attach to a floor mop, which leads me to believe there are no chemicals, because wouldnt you buy your own chemicals to clean the floor?

Never heard of using that, rockwool cubes are cheap and available where I'm at. Give it a go though if its just some shitty seeds

yea ur wasting a seed u payed for, if u were set on doing this little experiment u should of done it with bag seed, this is how ur shits gonna go, ur startin a seed on 12/12 outdoors, as the fall equinox is tomorrow, ur plants gonna veg for 2-4 weeks and then flower, then u have most likely 8 weeks of flower, maybe more, so that leaves a proper finished plant ready to harvest, early to mid dec, so if u give extra care, and take ur time to cover this girl up every night it gets to cold, make sure she's warm, u might make it there but very unlikely,

For anyone who cares what happened last year during my late grow here are the pics. I got about an ounce of each, dry...

As you can see the 40 degree weather we were having made this bitch super purple, but not the other one. I guess one only had the phenotype.

Anyways I got a good amount of bud for planting them so late in the season. I also got to witness how tough nirvana's seeds are. LOL

My suggestion, do a couple this year and see how it goes and next year do the rest. If your budget approves maybe try some autoflower seeds.

Lol I already am growing plants this year (look at my link in my signature)

The smoke sucked, it got me high, but it was not smooth at all. The harvest pics I did not bother with because the plant did not fully finish. There was not enough light in december to finish the ladies, so I cut them. They were also getting stunted every night because of the frost lol. Meaning I had to cut the plant prematurely. But hey I still got to oz's of bud hahaha.

But this just proves these plants are not pussies and can grow in any condition, it just may upset the plant and it wont mature properly.

In my grow this year I have 6 auto flowering, and 6 non auto flowering.

It rained a lot, and being in the ground, there was not much I could do. No mold, except on 1 nug, which was removed as soon as I saw it. Other than that the rain did not really effect them to much.

It did not start raining till like september-december last year so if you start now, or have already started, you should be good. Unless of course you have a 14 weeks of flower strain, like some sativas.

All the plants I am doing now are around 8-10 weeks so I believe I should not be effected by the rain. It really all depends were you live.

I mean if you loook at these plants in there natural habitat, they dont get any special treatment with rain... So as long as the strains you are growing are not specifically meant for indoors then they should be fairly to extremely mold resistant.

Like say you stuck a 24% THC plant outside in the rain, it will probably mold because of the high resin content. When you make plants more wild (i.e. mold/pest resistant) you are taking away a lot of the medicinal benefits that have been in the making for years.
