Just bought some bud, but it looks odd

dealer's claiming it's grown hydro and the blue is from miracle grow..... probably a load of bollocks there
In new zealand they sprayed free growing weed with blue tinted pesticide, but then it wouldn't get on the stems like this. And this is the the US anyways
I'll be smoking it tonight unless someone knows what was done to it

Looks like they had some funky brown pot so they mixed up some food coloring in a spray bottle and misted it over really good.
I don't think the plant drew the water up the stem or the color would be more uniform.
I think I take that shit back and ask "what the fuck and I don't want to hear your lame miracle grow excuse either"

Well that the point I think. He looked at it when his dealer gave it to him and it was probably dark so it looked fine. Then when he got it into the light he was like, WTF? Then when he cut it open it was

I did, looked decent enough on a spot check, and it smelled fine. It was outside, in the dark when I purchased.

it was stuck in a glass of food coloring. see how it soaked up into the stem. dealers do it to there buds to make them look better but in your case even worst.
you may also find that bud is still damp.
over here in UK they dampen down buds with water or even water/food coloring. then its half dried and bagged.
i have purchased bud at 1.75g, gone too sleep, woke up weighed bud and found its 1.0g.
i would leave that dealer and look for a more trusting one. a dude that has an idea what is what and not out too make a fast buck or two from your deep pocket.

The bud was really dry, actually. And exactly the amount that I asked for. And yes, I'm almost definitely not going to buy from this dealer anymore. Damn hard to find a good one in the area though.

Its pretty funny that i happened to see this cause a few days ago i was looking around the forums here and theres a very long thread started by someone who took a branch of their pot and put it in blue food dye. it looked just like that but they said it tasted terrible....not sure where it was, maybe general mj growwing, check it it....good luck

Have you ever gotten a decorated cake somewhere and the darker colored frosting tasted sort of bitter and kind of nasty? Yep, that is the taste of food coloring. I'd hate to think what it tastes like when smoked.
