Just curious…2 week veg?

I’m just curious if anyone on here has popped seeds and threw them into flower after just a couple weeks?
I have 13 plants right now that I don’t necessarily want.
2 Kush of some sort (2 weeks old er so)
2 Pineapple Express (2 weeks old er so)
And 9 other Pineapple Express about 4 days old.

I had planned on keeping these and growing them like normal until I got my hands on some better strains.

Anywho… is it worth it after just a couple weeks to flower them?
Any information is appreciated!

Clones are more mature than seeds. They are whatever age of development the plant was you took them from. But it's not uncommon to cut a branch put it in water and see what you have if you cloned during veg

I've done 12/12 from seed with an autoflower, still came out bangin" & the buds were decently tight.

I have also put clones into flower after one or two weeks as well, it just results in a lower yield than when I've waited with a 4 or 6 week veg.


I personally only advise early-flipping if you're trying to bang-out as many grows as you can, as quickly as you can, with no regard for overall yield. Otherwise, patience is a virtue & it will pay off for you if you wait, even just a little bit.

I completely agree.

Because of my interests (pheno/strain hunting for pain relief genetics), I try to blow through as many tables as I can per year. I don't want a lot of pot from each plant. My problem is a surfeit! But if you're not doing some specialized niche thing you're right! Patience pays off.

Just keep in mind some trains take a while to hit maturity. I've ran a few 12/12 that didn't pre flower for six-eight weeks, and some that took half that. I'm running a 12/12 from seed run this time round in a hope to fit two plants in each 90x50 tent as they both fit in my closet. Let's see if they flower early or hold out.

Three Nepalese landrace and a chemdog #4 (pot on the far right is chemdog). The two in the 7" pots are at day 12 and the others day 9.
