i have cut off the lower yellowing leaves shown on these pics.
Will this have any adverse effects on the plant?I figured since they were yellow they are obviously dying right?

Gutted i never took a clone from her though cos she looks like she is gonna give a decent yield.

i dont cut mine off. i wait untill they dry up and you should be able to pull it off easy. plant looks good. looks almost ready. more leaves will turn yellow and sometimes to purple and a dark red depending on the strand

Dying yes. Completely dead no. It won't affect her too bad. She will notice by the plant will not be badly damaged. Only if you trim more than a 1/4 of her mass at 1time. Real bad idea. But 1yellow leaf is no worry. Do try to avoid pruning during flowering stage as the leaves will yellow near tv end butthat will be the plant redirecting allthe sugar she's making to bud production. A natural metabolism. & the more leaves she has the more stomatas she's using for her photosynthesis process

yellow or not, that looks like some dank mary jane brudda! Lookin real good. I will experience a slightly different issue here pretty soon with my flowering mother as I've already removed all the original branches off the main stem.

That is a realm good size plant for an indoor grow. You can make brownies & pack bowls & roll fatties & sprinkle some on some fettucini Alfredo all day long man. Good stuff

2 weeks till chop? Go ahead and leave the yellowing fan leaves, start forcing a bit more nitrogen out of the buds and sugar leaves as well. Start flushing your soil of excess nutes and let the plant become nutrient deficient. This will improve the smoothness of smoke after a proper cure.

Your in dirt correct? Usually with hydro your medium flushes out alot faster so all the nutes are going to be gone in her system.
In dirt I recommend that you water & let the dirt fully dry at least for two more watering schedules & that should be a good flush. It takes a bit more watering for your dirt to be flushed. Flushing gets all the possible chemical "tastes" out of your bud.

yeah in biobizz allmix,11 litre pots.thanks for the tip godsend,i also have another lady in there, but she seems more sativa like so will probably take a while longer to finish.Oh by the way i dont know the strain as they are crazy x seeds mystic mix.only cost £10,but smell top class, kudos to marujuanamatt.

Is it possible someone could please help me, ive read the problems with root or nutrient burn from using miracle grow and all the possible cures but theres so many i dont know which one to choose, ive got 4 plants in mg their about 700mm tall and 1 week away from the 7 weeks to flowering quote. About 2 weeks ago the bottom leafs of each plant started to yellow around the edges, i was told to flush plants through and up the humidity. The bottom leafs have turned yellow now and its starting on the next leafs up the stem, ive been flushing each plant with 4 pints of lukewarm water per day for over a week from the tap, no adatives, the waters soft up north. The plants seem to be growing at a rapid rate since giving them so much water, they are in 7litre 10"pots, got drainage, got fresh air, got fan, their under 600w hid lamp and its 25c. only got 4 and their feminised, dont want to loose any. P.S. dont know what the ph is. Cheers st200.

Thats a beauty! You've nothing to worry about removing old fans from that beast. Some do, some don't I cant honestly say I've ever found it makes that much difference though in 13 years of growing MJ. Different if you experience premature yellowing maybe but that lady is spot on.

Rep+ for that!

Hi bud im from the north as well, you dont need to know the ph when in soil as it will buffer itself.miracle grow from what i have heard is a big no no.why dont you re-pot them into some bigger pots and leave for another week or two before switching to flower.Try a different soil,i used miracle grow seedling compost at the begining of my grow and they didnt like it 1 bit.Why not try biobizz allmix only about £12 for a sack,be defo worth it pal.
