A dogs true personality is allowed to shine through it's treatment and environment . You and your family provided what he needed to be the goodest boy . Take credit and solace from that , even if it makes it just a little bit easier . Dogs don't see and feel time like we do . In his perception he lived 100 years . Wherever dogs go he's there now telling all the others what a great life he had .

. my newest rescue, previous owner died a few weeks ago. Gotta love those bulldog faces.

She's doing great, has fit right in with the other dog and cats. First week you could tell she was homesick but she's living the good life. She's not really sad, that's her normal "I need a treat and ear scratch " look.
