So it turns out that Bella can't hear poor little baby but she is dealing with it really well learning how to get around with help from Odin he knew before us sorry I'm bragging about him but he is awesome so it is time for us to learn how to deal with this doesn't mean that she can't be a great little buddy any information would be greatly appreciated as always

I'm not kidding but I wondered just from pics if there might be something off with her . Not in a bad way but she just looked a bit confused .

You're right in that it doesn't mean she can't be a great dog just because she's deaf . In some ways I think dogs with disabilities can be amazing in what they can learn and how they adapt . Looking forward to seeing how she and her new family progress .

LOL that they can be we have yet to run across anyone that Odin has not liked so far
We were Kelsey's third family. Her original owner passed and the elderly couple we got her from chose between her and their grandkids. To be fair, Kelsey wasn't accustomed to little ppl, so she bit them when all the kids wanted was affection. She also lunged at a yellow Lab's throat as it passed us while walking her on a leash in town. The Lab was good about it, thankfully. Too brave for her size. She bit me one time too while grooming her - so I bit her ear - never did that again. Absolutely hated her nails trimmed. Ran around like she had the zoomies after a bath, rubbing her beard into the carpet, then heading outside and rolling in the grass to get new scents on her. She was a great companion.
