I fimmed on monday.

Plants growing at a rate that borders on unreasonable.

Need to start flowering SOON

If i change over to 12/12 on monday, will that be too soon?

I am worried about running out of room!

If space is an issue already, you waited too long to fim. Flowering will increase growth dramatically. Top-prune or LST are your options based on what I've seen in your post.

Top the plants and clone the trimmings. That's what I would do if I had the space in my system.

Good luck and good growing.

GrowFAQ doesn't say it so don't direct him to that... it's cutting the main cola, but not all the way down... it's short for FUCK I MISSED lol... so like a inaccurate topping basically...

I was counting on the plant doubling in size. But if i wait too long now, the double will be TOO big

I think i'll just through it into flower next week.
thanks :)

p.s. There is LOTS of info on fimming, just do a search.

ya about 70 percent of growth is in the flower stage so cut back the time pretty quick i had this problem before cut back like 2 hours every other day.

so how do u fim then??
Take a sharp pair of shears, and nip the top of the plant… just enough to damage it. i usually choose a 45° angle and 3/4 of the top…just right where the up shoot of “hairs” would be. It sends hormones to the plant (nature) to survive and creates a “new top” by splitting and essential creating a number of new colas or main stem. All plants are different . Here’s a house plant I topped bc it was bending on the ceiling.
