why would the dogs bark at your car? did you have a bunch of pot in the car or something? They probally got suspicious because you kept circling around waiting for them to leave. You should of just went straight home, btw, what do you mean by "seeing my car go into the home with the OP would be murder."

Sorry to hear about this Mister - I have had a couple similar situations. Once narcs came to the door of an apartment I had just moved into 'cos the tenant that lived there before me was a dealer! They shoved their jack-boot in my door (dumb ex-boyfriend answered the door in the first place which I never do unless expecting someone) I ended up talking Constitutional lingo around them for 15 minutes with their boot in my door and finally decided to threaten calling "911" on them to make sure they were supposed to be at my house! (haha makes me laugh now.) Once I threatened 911 the good cop and bad cop looked seriously shook and started being a lot nicer. There was an ash tray full of roaches and good cop was like "just let me come in and watch you dump those roaches cos they're in plain sight and we'll call it 'good'." It was a MAJOR GAMBLE (do not try this if you're witless or faithless) but I let him come in, dumped my roaches and as I was walking him out he pointed at my plant and asked "What's that?" I said "Tomatoes" and he walked out. I think cops, in general, aren't out looking for herb or pot heads but when they're trapped in a situation where they've already made calls to dispatch--or they're partner is there watching them--or the ticket is already written -- they're jobs are on the line to "NOT" do something.
If those cops wanted to be real assholes they could have found the nugs you left out and demanded to search the house for weapons ect. Try not to sweat it, take better measures on the scent issue and have a good talk with your folks about what they think of the situation.
I would suggest hitting up your local garden center and purchasing a $15 bottle of coyote urine. Squirt it on the bushes, mailboxes, ect outside of your home. If k9s ever come along again they will pick up on the smell of coyote pee and be totally distracted by it. Dogs follow their noses. Use it against them.
PS: Your plants will recover just fine. And God bless you too. GO GET THAT COYOTE URINE!

yeah i guess what i said by going home with my car would be murder didnt make sense haha, they had my license plate anyways and knew where i lived. I should of just went home in the first place, but was on an adrenaline rush lol. The dogs barked at my car only once and it was because my friend and i reaked of pot. I think.. at least

he's got a grow journal and ive seen him post about growing in multiple threads, hows he a troll? if he wants to make a thread that you thinks stupid he can. that doesnt make him a troll.(i'll agree how he acted in the situation was kind of stupid, but we all fuck up and do stupid shit at times.)

Yeah i mean after you think of what happened haha you go wow i was panicking. But im just happy to say i am lucky. Hey darkdestruction how can i get the 4-8 ounces i harvested today to dry without smelling for the K9 units. Right now i have them on a screen but the room is SKUNKY STANKY! Someone said shoebox with dehumidifier? I didnt get to harvest all my plants because of rush lost prob another 3 oz but hey gotta do what u gotta do

is money a issue? get an hepa air purifier that also scrubs the air of odors. i got one and although i no longer use it really it does work pretty good in my experience,
