I m in the process of harvesting. My drying room won't go over 38%rh. I have everything from arm sized nugs to popcorn buds.
Could use the cardboard box method for even drying?
Or can I put smaller buds jato jars with beards 62?
Trying to avoid the hay smell. Right now it smells of dank sour diesel, strawberry, and fresh cut leaf.

A box with the branches or buds inside with one intake hole at one end and another hole at the other end covered with a charcoal filter with a small fan ( computer fan ) pulling the air out. No smell, and rate of drying is controlled by opening the fresh air intake more or less, carbon filters for litter boxes work great.

I'd be putting a larger dish of water in their,

at 38% its gonna dry way too quick 50% is minimum over 10-14 days is average

65-75%Rh is ideal

good luck

I did a 3 day dry. Till the buds were crispy. Then jarred them with a boveda 62 for 1 day. After that I brown paper bagged them for a day, and stuck them back in the jar with the pack. Smells more and more delicious everyday. I'm constantly checking them though. The look, smell, and feel is "right" so far
