I have been currently growing with a 250w HPS, I have had some nice results of it. I want to start a perceptual grow setup, so that I do not run out of supply for personal use.I was reading about the minimum amount of lumens needed per square foot (2000ish), I am aiming for close to 10000 per square foot for the veg tent.
I want advice whether the CFLs I buy will be able to sustain 4 plants (training topping) for roughly a 2 month period).

Here are the specifications of the CFLs (Planing on buying two with reflectors.):
85W FLASH CFL E40 – 6400k – Daylight – Veg Stage
Base E40
Shape Spiral
Wattage 85W
Voltage 230V
Lumens 4750lm
Dimmable No
Colour Daylight
Colour in Kelvin 6400K
Lifetime 8000 hours
Max Length 260mm
Diameter 82mm

Thanks

At 4750 lumens a piece, I wouldn't suspect them of being true 85w bulbs. That being said, your plants will probably be dying for more light, figuratively and literally, by your 3rd week. That might be okay for 1 plant. Good luck
