I am stoked ! They are small trees so i can keep it in my green house. They like filtered sunlight so that makes it perfect for a green house since it will help keep the temps higher too. :hump: Imagine how cool it would be to to go around and give your neighbors a chocolate tree seedling.

http://www.fruitlovers.com/seedlistUSA.html <<< this is where i found them. Some Hawaii based seed company

I don't necessarily want it to make chocolate but its a cool addition to my exotics.

That's pretty awesome. You should try making a little chocolate just to try it. Some homemade chocolate probably would be sooo tasty. :-P

Very cool. You can actually eat the fruit - the portion around the coco seeds. Very tasty although the consistency is a bit slimy.

It was disappointing they didn't actually send me a cacao pod. These seeds are very fragile, once they become dry they perish.

I feel confident they will grow. They where packed in a zip lock bag full of wet peat. They all seem to have started a tap root so that's a good sign. It was a long trip from Hawaii so even though i wanted them ungerminated it is understandable.
