No question. Cops hate it when citizens assert their rights because it frightens them. To the oppressors, submission to police authority should be blind and absolute. :shock:

I'd need to see a source to back up that claim.

I am not hiding anything when I refuse consent; except perhaps my personal copy of the U.S. Constitution.

What I am doing is protecting my right against illegal search and seizure. Any copper who chooses to violate that right will have to deal with me and my attorney afterwards.

It's real simple.

"Officer, I will not speak to you unless my lawyer is present."

Then shut the hell up until said lawyer arrives. Yes, lawyers suck, and they're expensive. But they're a damn sight less expensive than jail time, losing your job, kids, etc.

That's the best advice I can give you, it's saved my ass a couple of times.

my question is... y would they come over in the first place? even if you are having a party, or loud music... they have no right to come inside... they cant force there way in without a warrant.. they cant get a warrant without some type of evidence... just dont leave bongs/papers/bags right in plain sight if ur door is open.. be a lil smart.. open the door a lil.. converse(without incriminating yourself) dont let them in, and dont step outside ur dwelling... if they already have a warrant your F'd in the A anyways... good luck, be smart, (ie: take down all the weed pictures on the wall... dont go outta ur way to look like a stoner)

What to do if the cops come to the door? Thats easy... don't answer. If they have any legal reason to be at your house, they won't have a problem kicking the door down... then your in trouble.

Don't let em in without a warrant...but if they happen to see some,say, on your front porch and ask..."What are these,"(hypothetically) you can tell them they are aquarium supplies.A LOT of the stuff used in growing is very similar to that used by salt water aquarium owners.And any salt water aquarium must be set up weeks before you can actually get fish.It's an expensive hobby, too.You have to buy shit in stages.

If your going to state your rights under amendments and not sure. Go ahead and say under both 4th and 5th amendments I am going to decline to answer your questions but I respect you and your job. Am I under arrest officer? Then I am busy with a deadline for work/school to be someplace etc may I leave? Don't show your scared. Don't make small talk other then to say you have nothing to hide..I would say if they continue to press you mention you have heard of people inocent being arrested and simply will not be of any assistance. Better yet don't answer the door.....Imo.

I would say that I grow inside, propagation of whatever(whatever legal plant you cant think up, don't tell the cop you "grow whatever"!) for the growing season that is upcoming/ongoing. If it's winter, Id say I use it only for that purpose.

turn the shower on and dont answer the door no matter what, if they kick in the door the judge will dismiss your case if they didnt have a warrant .

what i couldnt hear i take long showers and water got in my ears. when they come by again dont answer the door close all windows and dont look out of any windows, just sit there. This has worked for a few people i know, its really hard for them to get a no knock warrant and if they got one u might as well make them pancakes and coffee maybe they will leave you coule joint to smoke

cops cant search your house without permission or a warrant. real simple, dont let them inside, when there gone hide it in your neibors yard because they could come back with a warrant. what would i say to them? nothing, i would talk in circles and pretend i dont really know anything at all, then when they think there outsmarting me, bam! you cant come in without a warrant, see you in two hours if not tomarrow or... never!

Hey guys,I was wondering about my outdoor grow.Witch is in my back yard all fenced in stockcade fence.See heres the thing.There is a bike path that runs along my propety.So in the spring,summer months there is a lot of traffic(bikes/pepole).I know my two girls are going to smell soon.Ive seen the bike cops riding now and then.What if they were to smell my grow?got the dogs to find out where it was comeing from.Rin Tin Tin points to my yard.Cop get a warrent can they just come in my yard and start looking around?
