Go to a home improvement store and check their pesticide section, see if they have pump sprayers. They're cheap around here, you can get a small one for $8. They come with a wand on a hose that makes it easy to get under the leaves and give it a powerful spray at the same time. Spray your plants with distilled water twice a day, make sure you get real good under the leaves and make sure they dry out before lights out.

Surprisingly, this knocks a large part of the population off the leaves. Apply whatever remedy you want with the sprayer, I don't use anything but water and climate control. Spider mites grow from egg to adult in 30 days at 68f... that same process repeats itself every 2.5 days at 90f. Temperature can be a huge ally when battling spider mites.

Since I've been doing this, I've been mite free, so check it out if you want.
edit: I should say damage-free, mites are always present, and if you let them take over, they will.

ed rosenthal recomends lowering the temperature if possible. Also make a homebrew of 1gallon water mixed with one or more of the following--- 1oz garlic+2-3oz onion+1/2oz cloves+1oz cayenne pepper.try it on one leaf first to see it works and does`nt harm the plant.
Also soapy water can be used up to 2 weeks before harvest.
Also 1/2cup flour+1/2cup milk+1 gallon water(suffocates them:mrgreen:)

Thanxs iv got myself somw nite nite spider mite am going to apply it tommorow just be4 lights out like advised see what happens , temp could have been a problem so iv got a bigger take out fan today and am going to put it in tonight the temps were at 92 so hoping i can get it right down will keep you posted

get pure spray green. omri listed and works better than anything. kills adults babies and eggs. after 2 or 3 applications they will be gone.you will be so stoked. also mites like high heat. they 'll be hanging out probablycloser to the light

if you want to NUKE them and make sure that none of them come back, use floramite. its toxic shit though and you want at least 4 weeks between application and harvest. floramite kills spider mites and their eggs and should be sprayed on the bottom surface of all the leaves.
neem oil only kills mites on direct contact contact and does nothing to their eggs. i have never had any luck with neem.

Rubbing alcohol mixed with equal parts water...or even 3 parts water to 1 Isopropyl alcohol ( Rubbing ) will kill them.
It does not harm the plant as the alcohol evaporates real fast.

I used that at first and am now using Ladybugs in a CEA tent...at out local nursery it is only 20 bucks for 10,000 bugs.

My plants are budding and I'll only use a spray as a last resort...last last resort.

So the ladybugs are my hope..

Got the spider mites from a clone I got from a dispensary...should have know if they were spraying clones with Neem something was up.

Never had spider mites before...

I also lowered temps and raised RH

Use Attain 2oz bombs, one then another 3 days later, and another 3 days later. Only thing I've found that works.
