Just started Germination. Optimal temp?

Hello, new gardener here. I just germinated a few strains of seeds (Church, Super Lemon Haze, Royal Haze, and Blue Widow) and after they developed about an inch of root in napkin I moved them into propagation plugs and put them in a tray under a T24 in cabinet. I have rooting mat and keep the dome misted to increase humidity, my question is I have a remote themometer reading 90-95 degree F, with 80% relative humidity. I am noticing that the plugs need a little water a little sooner to stay moist but what is optimal temp for this stage? Thanks in advance for any information or advice you can provide me.

Ok, to update I can see that I will have the sprout within the next 2 days on the good seeds I ordered. 5 out of 7 germinated (2 out of 3 Church seeds did not germinate). I already have some bag seed plants growing in veg under a t44 (which I will use for mother plants eventually) and have hooked up some co2. They seem to love it I'm at 80 degrees and 52 percent humidity. I still got up to 104 degrees today in566880139_2010445755_0.jpg the dome before I unplugged mat and it stayed around 97 degrees, other than a little more supervision to make sure plugs are moist, everything 566879872_2010444796_0.jpgseems to be fine and on schedule...although I have yet to date complete a harvest...chances are greater than ever and my room is oh so secure...566880286_2010446331_0.jpg

Ok so somehow I managed to kill all of these seedlings. I believe it was a combination of me pushing them too far down into the plugs and also I believe I kept them soggy as opposed to moist and as a result I have failed with my good seeds. Because I didn't check on them every 5 minutes my bag seeds are shooting up and out like crazy. Luckily I kept some Super Lemon Haze and Church seeds, I have germinated them, they all popped and now Church has sprouted and both SLH are pushing through.

Did you buy a tempature control for your seed heat mat? If not you defintely need to. Before i bought my temp control i tried germin 5 SLH and a Warlock and A Motavation. all was going great until i got the heat seed mat. I figured they would stay in between 75-85 degrees since there made for seeds, but hell no. I plug it in and i checked on em regularly. The first day went fine but on the second my seedlings were dried to a husk, all dead the root riot cubes were as dry as dry gets.I didnt know you were supposed to buy a thermostat for it! I ended up buying one and it makes a HUGE difference. Well, I hope this helps you some.

I keep mine at 80-85 F and they seem happy there. I think yours got heat stroke.
I think you may be right. I had them in a cabinet with no air circulation, the 2 seed flat heating mat, Sun Blaze T5 24 a few inches away, with soggy plugs.
I just germinated the last few seeds I had but instead of plugs just used smaller 3" pots and right into Fox Farm Light Warrior. After 24 hours I have spro568659889_2017182257_0.jpguts now. I have got the light 17" away, which I would like to have light closer but I'm getting good tempature at this height and they seem to 568660027_2017182754_0.jpgbe doing great. Bagseed is coming along, I've topped them already and have used Advanced Nutrients (grow-Micro-Bloom) just below full strength.568659940_2017182445_0.jpg

I have vegged mine with temps from 70F-77F no light heat and very low humidity(tight space in closet). I heard it promotes female buds. I have no experience but these low temps seemed to have helped a lot with my male/female ratio.
