Maybe not due soon.. I’m new myself but I’ve seen flushing to be a debatable topic on here. Makes sense to me though? Anyways you may need to post more info (e.g. the medium in which you grow) for the experts to weigh in. For instance if you’re in hydro you may only need to flush a few days before harvest.

I'm growing in coco pro, does the flush do anything to the taste, iv read it flushes out the chemicals we use during growth. Im abit skeptical about the flush really but as its my first time I'm just going by what I'm reading .

I’ve heard you only need 3 or 4 days flushing for coco. Hopefully some of the OG’s jump on here and let you know. Can’t say I have any first hand exp.

You will see brown pistils throughout flower. The older ones will brown and be be replaced with more white. Its when the majority are brown and you are seeing few new white pistils that you are getting close.
Any sort of handling will damage an cause brown pistils as well

FLUSHING IS A MYTH!

You can NOT "flush" nutrients out of a plant by running a shit ton of water through the media!
This IS actual plant science!
Not some old hippie MYTH! AND? I'm an old hippie...
Not to mention that the fadeing out of nutrients? Does no real good for that either!
The plant will feed off it's self and send those nutrients RIGHT TO WHERE YOUR TRYING TO GET RID OF THEM! Straight to the buds.
Why? Because the plant is now being stressed at to high a rate. She's putting everything she has in a last ditch effort to reproduce before she dies outright! She's putting those nutrients --right back into the buds. WHERE YOUR TRYING (not successfully) TO LOWER THEM!

You do a careful dry and then a proper CURE to get your taste in line! Helps the final felt buzz too!

My whole life, every single fucking boook I’ve read,
Every one tells you to flush. I’ve been on RUI for half year and never read not to flush so many times it’s crazy. One person makes a shit study and everyone just jumps on and believes them without even trying it out. I’ll still be flushing my plants, I can tell a difference when I don’t. Stop trying to push your no flush science on everyone else.... Tried and tested over some twats theory on a forum lol. Flush matters.

I've flushed and not flushed and there's been no real difference other than the girls have appeared more lively even at the end when I don't flush.

BS of the highest order!

YOU CAN NOT FLUSH CHEMICALS FROM A PLANT BY FLUSHING THE MEDIA!

This is how plants work. It is scientifically impossible to reduce any "nutrient chemical" BY PASSING WATER THROUGH THE MEDIA!

I DON'T CARE WHAT FUCKING NON EDUCATED OLD SCHOOL HIPPY WHO WROTE A BOOK ON HOW TO GROW CANNABIS SAY'S!
SCIENCE, actual PLANT science say's NO YOU CAN'T!

I've been doing this longer then you have been alive! (Betcha dimes to dollars)

Just because some moron wrote it in a book. Doesn't make them an expert, or what they say the whole truth!
I could write a book too. Many people around here ask me why not, please do....
I should find the time.
Then I can have some of your hard earned dollars too.

In my way of thinking?
YES it does hurt!
This is the bulking phase. The plant takes on over 33% of it's finish weight in these last 2-3 weeks!
You stop feeding it and what does it feed off from? How can it reach maximum POTENTIAL by restricting it's nutrition?

Your plant is NOT able to reach full yield and quality potential = FAIL in my book.

Flush does not matter. The only thing it does is flush the grow medium. Nothing is flushed out of the plant. If the plant is being flushed where do all these nutrients you think are being flushed out go? Do they spray out of the calyx's? Do they ooze out of the leaves? Where do they go?
