Kandy Kush*nute tab experiment

Hey what's going on guys it's been a little while since I posted. Been busy. Currently coming up on the week 4 in veg.
I wanted to try a little experiment this cycle with these flowering all in 1 nutrient tabs that I've read about on nirvana.com.
I've seen them on their web site for years now but I've just never paid on much attention until now, just decided to give them a try this cycle because what the hell, why not. Clearly there is some kind of market for them they've been selling them for several several years.
They make a tablet for vegetation stage and a tablet for flower stage. Well I'm growing in Fox farm ocean forest so I shouldn't need the vegetation tabs.
Anyways whenever I switch to flower I'm supposed to plant these flowering nutrients tablets a couple of inches below the soil and theoretically all I have to do till harvest is water. If that's all I have to do and I no longer have to measure out nutrients and still produce killer buds then I'm down for that.

I'm growing 5 Kandy Kush right now feminized. I'm only going to use the flowering tabs on 2 of my plants and the Fox farm trio nutrients on the other 3.

Has anybody out there had any experience with these?

I did use something similar on the four pretty large deciduous trees in the yard at our previous house. Each spring, when the ground was still pretty soft, I'd pound about 1/2 dozen of the Jobe's tree fertilizer sticks around the tree roots. The trees stayed pretty healthy all year round.

Lately I blend a bunch of stuff together with promix as a base. I almost grabbed those the last time I ordered from nirvana just to check them out. But have been on the fence if I want to start some hydro up again. I like water.......soil is damn messy! But power at new place can be iffy. So soil is forgiving in that sense. Just a hobby now so less stress is best! :)

I saw them last time I browsed the site and was tempted, but have plenty of salts on hand already. I'll be curious to see how they perform and tag along.

I have ample amounts of salt as well but if these tabs can produce the same quality of buds and I never have to measure out nutrients again then this could be a game changer.

Respectfully ... I don't buy into that thinking. I rather enjoy the tinkering with their eats. Each plant grows differently and sometimes, even when sticking to a schedule, things can sometimes go slightly awry. I find that knowing the exact dosages helps in those events where I need to either rev up their dose or tone things down. Thinking it would be real easy to get out of practice by using a tablet.

That's just me.

And mind you, I do still like the manual 5 speed transmission.

I do agree with you and that would go down under one in the cons list. But as with life there are pros and cons to just about everything. But the only way to be sure of anything is to conduct test. I've tried researching detailed journals on them but I have not found any worthwhile. And I don't really have a whole lot to lose here so. Just the opportunity to gain knowledge.

For anybody that's follow along with the grow, I haven't decided which 2 plants are getting the tablets yet I may even do just one plant to side on the air of caution.
I started LST'ing today and I added a garden lawn spacers to open up the fabric bags better and give me plenty of tie off places around each bag. I added an updated pic and the desired direction for my LST20191231_105659.jpg
