I am interested in growing some autoflowering strains in my garden. I came across this Automatica BCN Diesel from Kannabia seeds on Attitude. I was wondering if anyone has grown this strain and if it is as good as it sounds. I have BCN Diesel on my (long) short list of good sativas to grow, but never heard of an auto version. Any info would be great! I am looking to order on Friday to take advantage of Attitude's awesome promo! Thanks, fellow stoners!

just gonna try a few auto bcn this week. i have read on their own site that these autos need 12/12 hrs light to flower otherwise they keep vegging. well worth visiting their site for tips as these don't seem to be your average auto.

I hope you've figured out by now that nothing is going to flower under a 24/0 light cycle. I'm growing out a freebie BCN fem seed started and maintained under a 12/12 and at 4 weeks the plant is very impressive. Although many descriptions claim this to be mostly a sativa, it sure looks and grows like an indica. Very, very tight inter-nodal spacing and even though I've kept this plant even more dwarfed than it should be, I expect to get at least 2 oz from a 20 inch high plant. Can't wait to try!

Copy and paste from Kannabias website.

Use no larger than five-litre plant pots.• Use a photoperiod of 12-14-16 hours of light for faster results (OUR BEST RESULTS WERE OBTAINED WITH 12/12 and 14/10 PHOTOPERIODS). If you leave it at 18 hours, you will have to stop feeding with growth fertiliser after two weeks and force the plant to flower, leaving it in darkness for 24–48 hours and then resuming the photoperiod. In any case, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING OUR AUTO-FLOWERING VARIETIES WITH PHOTOPERIODS OF OVER 16 HOURS, AS THE PLANTS WILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO END THE PROCESS, TENDING TO GROW TO A HUGE SIZE AND RISKING GROWING BEYOND THE GROWER’S CONTROL.
• Use high-pressure sodium lamps.
• Good results can also be obtained by switching from a longer photoperiod to a shorter one (for example, reducing from 20 hours to 12–14 hours to stimulate flowering and accelerate the process).
