i put mines in bleach
and then warn water(with h2o0) and run it so all bleach residue comes out .

The light rail, was so I could put my 400HPS in the box, and not get uneven growth. But Al, told me it would be all good. If I had the money I probably would, but I'll get a cool tube first. I do add nutes when I top off. Bu t like I recently added a full gallon. I let it drop that gallon and refill. So especially since I am using the pump. I guess I can let it drop low, and then clean it.? Do you still use your bubblers? I know flood tables are so much better. One day soon.

Nothing but water added today.

1/4 cup in Sprite Hempy
1/2 cup in Arizona Hempy
1/4 cup in Clone Bowl

Tap water- PH not checked usually between 6.0-6.5 closer to 6.5 :-( I really have to start adjusting my PH. in tanks. I want to keep close to 5.5. I have pics but the site was acting up before so I'll send this for now.

At time of pics 83*/68% I can't do shit about the temps cause its way to hot in the room that the box is in. Summer is almost over though. Those temps scare me to put in my HPS. So even when I get it in, it may only be a test run. If the temps shoot up, I will have to wait.

Is the blue thing your ballast,if so move it on the outside of the box your blowing the heat off the ballast everywhere.THESE are just some thoughts white flat paint,move the box with the 6 plants over a tad and make a hole and put the fan on the outside blowing on the res,i know those fluros dont put out a lot of heat but it might help a little its got to be a little cooler outside the box???yea your right b4 i got the cooltube my 400hps only had 1 at that time raised my temp 20 deg and didnt have the window a/c.gonna pm u.

Na it's a fan. I need to paint, but then I am going to have to take my ladies out for 24 hours. I have 3 1 1/2 in holes passive and the 6 in. duct fan ex. temps usually stay within 2-3 degrees. The room it self is way to hot. It usually stays about 78-80 and then my 2-3 + explains low 80s. :-| I am already running an indoor ac, but it is not strong enough.

http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZRxdm429YYUS you say u have a/c is it central,or window rattler lol.if its central this is what i would do being you know what i do for a living.get a inline duct fan and install it in the run going to that room if u have flex duct it would be very easy.just look at that duct and see if its 7 inch or 8inc or whatever size and go to home depot get 1 make sure it 110 not 220 and wire it up to a junction box are run extension cord.hell just a thought i live in texas and its hot here all the damn time but where u live i dont know so just my 2 cents.lmao boy i was still asleep when i asked about the ballast.

i just checked at my supplier and 6inch is over 40 bucks so i think it woudnt be worth it. didnt think they were that damn high,did you see the diy on the bake around tube.it might have been on homegrone420 dont remember.what kinda hood you got on your 400hps??just thought about this i got a bunch of draft inducer assemblys i have taken off old furnaces and they move over 900 cfm im told, i think ill try one and see, my temps are getting out of hand it was 106 last week.

I bought my 6in for $25 from Home Depot. Most Dro shops sell them for 40+. I think that it maybe best to buy the cooltube. Only cause it it is ready to roll right out the box. And I'd probably go through some Pyrex tubes before I get it right, lol. My reflector is HTGs cheapy compact reflector that comes with their magnetic ballast 400HPS. What are your room temps? I have the indoor ac, ducted out to through a dryer vent, keeping the room around 78-80. Then the box stays within a few degrees. My biggest problem I am sure is; the room is a garage, and the garage door, I don't think is sealed good. I duct taped the edges, lol.

3 new clones taken today. One from my mystery strain, one from my Ice, and one from Sourd#2. Still not sure if either of the two SourDs are female. If they are both male, I will probably make a small box with floros to sex that male with my mystery strain. Some experimental fun. I think it would make an awesome strain though.

I presoaked my cubes with water at ph5.0. I then noticed as I threw out the wrapper to the cubes it says 5.5. Hopefully that won't be a problem. I removed the bowl and replaced with a baking pan with water at 5.5 to make space for the new ones, I now have space for a bunch more aswell. Just need more to cut, lol.

Temps high like usual at 83*, humid. 67%.

I will buffer my ph in everything to 5.5 from now on. Hopefully it will make a big difference.

3 rooted clones from bowl, put into the waiting tank. 2 ice clones + 1 mystery clone. The solution in the tank should be 800 PPM @ 5.5 Ph. New Ice clone taken off mother and put into bowl. At time of work 77*/70%. I will add some pics soon.

I am currently running veg in that box. The plants in that left tank are the mothers. Once I fill the box level from left to right we're going into flower. I would love to keep that as all veg from left to right. And build another box for flowering. If I can't afford to build again, which I don't see it in my future especially with meters and nutrients on the list immediatly. I will flower in that box, with my HPS and build something very small which isn't a problem with the extra wood I have laying around for veg. I will eventually use that box with the 400 HPS for Veg and my first bloom box light will be a 600 HPS when I have the money to build and buy the light and set up the flood tanks.

I have wired my light through. Ballast is remote but Reflector is Econo, lol.

I need a cool tube, my temps are up at 90*/50%

What do you think of that heat. You think the girls will stick it out, I really dont want to go back to the 4Ft. Floros, they are to dim. And then I would have to run the tanks the other way, cause the light density, goes right down the middle.
