i wish yourself and your father well, weedman.. i sincerely hope things improve for you both, but as for karma? shit works in mysterious ways i find, and i've found that it's after i stop wanting, that i recieve.
i tend to think "karmic reward" or w/e is more the culmination of a lesson, than a payoff.

heartbroken about your father, we all go through it, mine is still alive but if he were dead it would be the same thing. The reason i tell you about my father is because i hope you dont have a "why did this happen to me?" attitude.

Well why cant you get a job?, and if your having trouble meeting people for the first time, your just in a shitty place right now, i dont think theres anything wrong with you. Expecting karma to come make shit better for you is not a healthy way live. If you came across a large sum of money, or met a beautiful woman. Would you take that as payment for your fathers condition.
It is what it is.
also if you dont have any previous depression disorders, dont say "im depressed". Its not good for you to say or try to believe that. How were you expecting to feel about this?
i often do the same thing, i allow myself to believe that life has treated me unkindly, and that im bound for a payday. When i snap out of it i realize how childish i was.

you must have a life in missouri to go back to. i presume
ive never seen anyone as ill as your father, but hopefully the time you spend is meaningfull
when you settle down from the chaos, embrace life
if you like to view things in spiritual way, then say to yourself that karma has brought this to you for you to overcome.

LOL, i just read this and im thinking to myself " why dont you follow your own advice asshole"

grab life by the balls homey

You need to take responsibility for your own life and face your situation if courage. Read up on alternative medicine that may help your father. The doctors honestly don't give a fuck about patients...that's all we are to them patients and case numbers...or a file.

Read up on manifestation. Read up on meditation. Practice meditation. The point is to see your thoughts. When you understand that your thoughts create reality and that your emotions attract things then you will understand that your life circumstance is totally your responsibility. YOU can only be responsible for YOU and YOUR ACTIONS. So be good to everyone love everyone and most importantly think of GOOD things and have GOOD feelings/vibrations and GOOD things will be attracted and manifest in your reality.

Good luck.

Apparently I don't know shit about kharma.

I was under the impression that kharma has no bearing with regard to actions in this life. The shit that happens to us in this life is kharma from the previous life and our response to it. It is the next life we affect with our actions while in this existence.

I assume most people confuse 'what goes around comes around' or 'what you sow you shall also reap' with kharma.

Anyway... Dude. I hope your situation improves. Best of luck to you.

karma is just a word. it has no real defining purpose to life. theres no scientific evidence to its exstance. its more or less a thought to bring self gratification and fullfillment. its more or less a "nest egg" of ones own ego. think about it,its just a word,if you look at the obvious reason to why you cant get a job then you should smack yourself on the forehead and realize that you couldve had a v8

is this the true meaning of karma?
i was always under the impression that it was this life choices that affected the return outcome.
not that i believe this, I just try my best to respect, while i learn how to live life

karma is a sanskrit word.... and all hindus live by it

its principal is that the choices and actions u take and do in this life r directly proportional to the next life u gt....

its believed that if u r poor and unhappy its coz of what u did in ur previous life....and if u live this life with only good actions then u will b born into wealth and happiness.....

indian philosophy/religion also sez that u will b born countless times.... and each life if ur doing good will bring u closer to true relization... u will b taken from this world into the next.
