kassidy's 1st grow

well im too paranoid to post all my pics, i did my first grow in soil, i started with a 140watt mh flood light, switched to cfls then acquired a 400watt hps light. My babys are doing good, atleast i would like to think, the bigger plant i thought was going to be a hermie but i was wrong shes female. that was a relief, im hoping to harvest the smaller plant on xmas. i would like to do them at the same time but the one is just started to bud. let me know what you guys think. its my first official grow. other then trying to grow them in my backyard a few years ago. i have a dwc hydro tub ready to go for my next grow. im using a 18liter rubbermaid for two plants.

Hey Kassidy, nice looking ladies there, . They look like they could go on longer than another week, maybe a few. Do you check the trichomes on it? How do they look? Keep on growin.

oh yeah the big girl i guess probably has about another month, but the lil lady in ther has hopefully 2 to 3 weeks, she started getting trichomes all over the place, dont have microscope but got a very good eye. just going to wait until the start getting darker(the hairs). rock on!!

well my one baby gettin a shit load darker, i whould have taken a pic just turned the lights off. anyways ill snap one when i get home from work later. Hopefully gonna have harvest the little one by xmas...

i wouldnt rush the harvest of the little one, plus if you chop it for xmas, youll still have to dry and cure it, that takes 2/3 weeks.
i thought the big plant looked male its very leggy, how come you thought it was hermie. any closer pics. hope its not.

how old are both plants since you put into 12/12?. did you use reg of fem or bag seed.

ok i finally went to radioshack and got this little microscope, cost me like 11.49 total with tax. my fucking camera died and i cant find the charger for it so no pics right now, my woman has a camera fone so ill just snap a few shots later tonight when the lights turn.

oh yea, crazy-mental, there are both random bad seed, and its been about 2months of 12/12. Actually today is 2months and 1day since 12/12 began.

ok heres the update, its my first harvest ever. I chopped my lil baby down im thinking about a week early, but i have my reasons. My other baby is still going strong. i was pressed on time when i chopped my plant and ended up using duct tape and hangers to hang my buds. worked out fine, now there sitting in tupperware containers. i will put a new pic up when the lights turn on.

it's a lil blurry,,but looks good,,when ya figure you can smoke some,,that other plant looks really yummy,,bet ya can't wait for that one ,,good goin man,,I got 4-5 weeks left on my closet,,gettin real frosty though,,keep it up kass

i know its blurry i had shaky hands at the time, plus a shitty camera. i have no idea how long until i can smoke, but i should have definitely waited on chopping it down. im thinking about another month too for my other plant. i wanna make sure this one is done right. i could probably yield enough for me to smoke on for quite some time but im glad im almost done with this grow, i want to start all over and setup a much more efficient grow closet. this whole thing was one hell of a learning experience. i love growing my own buds. makes me appreciate the good smoke even more. i bet your ladys are looking damn pretty right about now.

how much did you harvest. how do the buds taste. did you test it?.

Nice Kassidy. How early do you think that one was? If a week, maybe not too bad then. Nice looking buds. Good job.

im thinking about an oz, no i havnt tried them yet, maybe later today after work. yea your right chiceh definitely would have waited. but i had to go out of town for like a week, and i wasnt sure if the plant would have made it, my other baby did just fine, but this one was struggling. i cant wait to start again and get some better buds!!!!

wow, these buds are getting better each passing day. they got really orange. my living room has a nice fresh bud smell to it too. im already working on germaniting more seeds for my next grow, i got about 20 seeds going. all bagseed, but its all good.
