keep or dump?

so i got some third generation seeds from a friend, the first gen was from a seed store, i wish i knew as much four weeks ago as i do now, originaly had the little buggers under crummy flood lights that i got from home depot that where for accelerated plant growth, i know, bad idea and as you can tell they are really stretched, now that i have them under cfl's they seem to be doing much beter and the stalk is starting to thicken. On top of all this i have stressed them a few times with inaccurate light cycles and burnt a few leaves becouse i thought tin foil was a good idea

now im stuck debating if i should maybe just give up on these little four week old plants and start over? or just stick it out for learning purposes

Hey Man--- Yah... wow, those are very stretched out. I don't know if they're really worth saving, at 4 weeks old they're pretty behind in maturity. However, I would maybe keep the best one (probably the one thats not curling/bending) and germ some other seeds. Use the mutant as your test subject lol. Never know, it could make a come back.

keep them, there not doing any harm just sitting there, ive kept plants that look dead only to sprout new leaves and grow again.
dont throw it until it dies.

haha mutant, well what happened was three days ago i accidentaly snapped the stem when i was moving them, and then gave it some support and its picked up

dont take this to heart but those look like scwagg plants

what are you using for light? ill bet that could have something to do with your problem

if it were me i would definatly keep the one that hasn't curled but for the one that has curled i would go and find a small stick and put it right next to it and see if you can straighten it and if you cant i would cut the top of it and clone it.

just for a pointer keep your lights as close as you can, do the hand thing were you put your hand by your plants and if its not to hot then i would keep your plants there

keep them and learn.
learn about lighting, lumens, proximity to foliage.
learn about soil, the differences between soils.
learn about pests and diseases, and what to do about them.
learn about the N-P-K's of fertilizer, and nutrients, ect..
learn from old school growers as well as new school growers.

get my drift? nothing beats knowledge. learn as much as possible if your seriuous about growing plants.

use the resources here for help, theres alot of experienced people here.

keep them all decide later for now move light closer or you dont have enough light

should be in a cup started about half way up as it grows addd more soil for support put fan on them to strenthen stem must be oscelating

if they were mine id transplant them deeper into soil cut off all leaves to go below soil line at stem sharp and clean id plant them about halfway

but def keep give them a chance why should they suffer for your lack of knowledge
