i cannot stress it enough that a stable enviroment is the most important area of growing that is totaly over looked. first thing everyone thinks of is lights,ph,nutes and soils. none of this matters unless we have a stable enviroment for it to grow in.
making sure we have the area set up and make sure the temps and the humidity are with in range and consistent. we are garenteed sucess.
i feel if you take a few days to set up your grow area and get it running and make sure everything is contant. what happens is we start our seeds and then worry about were we are going to grow it. then we add fans take them away. vent it un vent raise and lower the light. all things change the enviroment and at the same time stress our plants out and cause troubles for us.
put as much time into your grow area as you have on what type of seed your going to grow and you will save your self many a heart ache and headache.

lets just say it is our first grow. we only know we want the optium ph to be 6. well we have to lower the ph so we add chemicals to lower it to little or to much we create an unstable enviroment for our root system. and we will have headaches. so if your city water is at7 then go with atleast you know it will be 7 everytime you water your plant. again stablity is what we are trying to achieve. if we think we are going to treat our plants to some r/o or distilled water we picked up at the market. it isnt a treat it is stress now you have chaged the ph make up of the water it has left and could cause stress. our main objective is maintain a stable enviroment. to behonest i dont even own a ph test kit. i use tap water every time and for every grow i have ever done. my city water is 7. most water quaility is available on line for you to see what your city water is. your ppm's is another thing people spend to much time worrying about. whats the point of knowing them if you dont know what minerials or elements your plant has used. if you follow the directions on the label for ml's per gallon it will always be corrert.
again it will be following the same directions everytime and creating that stable enviroment we are after. so please i cannot stress it enough that it is so overed looked that a stable enviroment is the best thing we can give our plants

does everyone know? i know myself included had planted the seed before i even gave any thought of where i was even going to grow it at. i am just saying it takes alot more than a pot of firt and few cfl's to grow it. i feel now looking back enviroment is even more important than the nutes we use. what is the point of the best nutes if we lock them out with the wrong enviroment
