ok im about to grow 2 blue mystic in a clf setup with dimensions of about 16''x22''x30" after lights and pots are place and figured in so thats al actual plant space.... this will be my first grow i have about 350w mixed cfl/led lighting with about half of that on top the rest around the edges. Now blue mystic is probably short enough to grow normal in that space bt i want to maximize yield... so top or lst is the question??? Which will work best/provide best light coverage in my space? Also keep in mind i have done plenty of research but we all know you learn well by doing not observing..... how do i get a good yield and keep the plants both manageable, produce well, AND most importantly keep things simple. Checking on them once per day is the plan.... post away and thanks....

I'd research "Hempy Buckets" I just started growing to my first plant was in soil and I quickly changed to "Hempy system" its a very simplistic (SP?) hydro pot... water it once every few days and let it basic in the CFL lights

instead of having biased people tell you how to grow.....do some research on the basics of botany and then marijuana cultivation...you will learn more from reading and researching on your own outside of these types of forums then just having someone tell you how to do it....you have a long road ahead of you if your going to be this lazy about it from the start....not trying to be a dick...just telling ya how it is.
your gonna have 30 different people telling you 30 different ways to do it...and according to them their way is the best...learn whats best for you and your needs and don't trust strangers to do your grow for you.

i have done alot of research.... ALOT.... i know how most of the basic strategy works.... and i know im going to have to learn alot on my own by doing.... the fact is i have not yet grown and reading guides and stuff does tell you how but of course, they do not tell you which way to go, or why that choice is best ( obviously there are many good and bad choices). This of course comes from experience. I know im lacking in experience and there are a lot of successful growers out there with plenty of it, so i don't see why asking for advice is lazy. I built my setup, picked what i believe to be a good starter strain that should work well for me. I am leaning towards a spiral LST.... but alot of research only goes so far and for all i know i have some fatal flaw I have not seen. I thought forums like this were here for people to share knowledge, and to learn. I'm not asking for step by step instructions I'm just trying to make sure I am not destined to fail because of something I have overlooked due to inexperience. That being said my starting post could have been more accurate and less questioning, and I do see the merit in your statement.

well i used the word lazy loosely for lack of a better term...if you have done your research then the next step is to just start your grow...keep your plant count low for your first run to not get overwhelmed...but like you said there are many ways to grow this plant and as long as your following the basic steps...you will be good and along the way pick up the skills you need to get great harvests and potent yields...get a couple harvests under your belt and you will begin to tell how to read your plants...the plants will tell you what they need...not people on forums....not people from high priced nute companies.if you can tell when they are getting to much or too little of something and learn how to correct any problem...then you will have good potent yields.
so my best advice....get them seeds a poppin...experience is the best thing to become a great grower...we are always learning and never stop

sounds like you got your shit together man...when your ready go ahead and start your grow...and keep a journal or thread on here to keep track of what you do to help reference times when you have issues you can look back and see what and when it happened....and you can have people follow along giving tips and advice as you go along.i see a lot of people on here that their threads start off with "tossed some bagseed in yard dirt..with a incandescent light on them 24/7..whats wrong with my plant?" they have no clue and never researched a thing....you seem to have some smarts...or more then i see on this site sometimes....you have a great plan so far...well thought out...you don't really need much advice...so for me i say good luck and happy growing
