I have been a little bummed, put my clones in an aeroponic cloner about a week or so again and no signs of roots at all. I just got done looking at them and I saw that most of them have these tiny little bumps towards the bottom of the stem, where the 45 degree cut was made.

Is this a good sign? I have heard of something called root bumps, but I do not know exactly what they are. Whatever these tiny bumps are, hopefully roots start popping out of them soon!

If you have the slightest clue what Im talking about, can you shed some light on these tiny bumps Im seeing? I would have took some pics for you but my camera wouldnt focus in that close. Thanks

I clone in peat pellets, but usually before I start seeing good roots I can see the root bumps right above the soil(sometimes the ones above soil will grow into good roots also)

Thanks for the info, thats what Im hoping for. I was also wondering.........I think I may have forgotten to expose the root on a couple of the cuttings. I remember cutting just below the node, but I dont thing I pulled the stem downward to expose a portion of the side of the root. Would this effect the duration it would take to root? Or would this even root at all?

I believe what you're talking about is scarification which many say will make more area available to root faster by exposing more tissue to your medium/rooting gel/water(be careful not to cut into the middle of the stem). The cutting should root whether scarification has been used or not.
