I do like the apple struedels man.... Pop tarts suck but i do like unions.. If i lived in a small business man state id like right to work because its easy. Anyone can go down and get a liscense make millions not knowing shit but still paying their employees and run a small business in a state that doesnt know anything about Quality and Honor.
Just what ive witnessed.. Its good for the smart small business owner i guess the most.. U get to live on yaughts, scuba dive, explore coral reefs, and boink all the hottest chix.
Meanwhile never get another job if it all came down to Workmanship and Pride.
Still undecided.
But think either way assistance should be given to the families of the people that lose thier jobs, houses, family's and lives.
But if i was rich id rather be looking at corals in buma than laid off in the snow with no house or job.

The Kellogs corp is based in my state, along with Post Foods & Purina Ralston, kellogs is one of the largest high paying union shops in Michigan, they pay union wages & full benifits to ten's of thousands of workers in a state thats fighting the highest uemployement rate its ever faced,Kellogs is one of the major employers on the western side of Michigan & one of the few corps left in Michigan that isnt closing shop,or paying employees an unliveable $8 an hour wages.

Yes,Kellogs succumb easily to pressure from its customers to can Michael because they dont want to be associated with anything to do with any illegal drug, what happened was "His own act of stupidity" & not the act of Kellogs, boycotting a corporation that pays thousands of people well above liveable wages with full health insurance, over a man who now has millions of dollars in his pocket, a man who will allways live a better life than most americans is an ignorant & foolish act, tens of thousands of workers can suffer lay off's or reduced hours over a boycott based on the actions of a multi millionare who brought this on his own self.

Yes it sucks & yes he is getting fucked, but to fuck over thousands of innocent hard working men & women over the act of stupidity of a very young newly made multi millionare is unresponsible & unwarrented.

This is an unjust boycott & a boycott i strongly reccomend that people do not participate in,this guy allready has more money than any of us will in our entire lives, the ones who will suffer are the men & women who work hard at Kellogs, they will be the ones who if laid off, most likely will loose their jobs for life.

people never look at the bigger picture, it's not like any other corporation would have done it differently.

this effects many people *munches on corn flakes*

People have a right to vote with their wallet, it happens all the time and it's not the people's fault if they feel the company has done something they didn't like. And we all do this "act of stupidity" all the time, why should he be punished for doing it?

Let's boycott panhead :) and unions :)
You seem to base the bulk of your posts on being silly & having fun at all costs, with little or no thought to whats left behind, you also seem to be very anti union,as are very many young people just starting out in life.

This whole approach is childish, the guy smoked dope, bfd we all do, & so do alot of the people your trying to hammer with this childish boycott over a man who will never be part of any work force,or face the economic challengs you'll face weekly, this has to be the absolute worst reason ive ever seen anybody start a boycott over, the whole way the boycott is written, then presented is childish, its written more for the ''hey look at me being silly" factor than it is for content or intent, just look at the way its worded, all sillyness from start to finish.

Have fun with your boycott & union bashing, just dont cry later on in life when people hammer the business your collecting a paycheck from in the name of having fun & being as silly as possible, its called standing together to protect business & keep them in america, something the new generation of consumers seems to find no value in protecting, people are paying the price for this total disregard as we speak, in the form of reduced wages & reduced jobs available.

The generation just starting out in the work force is the first generation that cant expect to make atleast as much as their fathers made, since ww2 every generation could count on a better life than the proceeding generation, ever wonder why that is,keep having fun at all costs & stepping on the toes of other workers because it dont directly effect your position in life, sooner than later you'll be effected as well.

I dont agree at all with Kellogs decision,i personally think its a chickern shit move but if we all look at it from their stand point what else can they do,after all this involves the devils weed for god's sake, imagine what the media would do to kellogs if they just sat idly by & did or said nothing,im pretty sure the outcome would be a media shit storm against kellogs just for the sake of sensationalism in their reporting.

My views are that we should blame the government for making such a harmless substance as our beloved herb a pariah, then enacting unjust & cruel punishmnts tword all its users in order to set an example so they can keep the big business of assett seizure profits rolling in.

I also think we should blame the media, they have taken a stance where they latch on to these stories, then exploit them using bullshit sensationalism reporting methods to attract veiwers instead of honest reporting methods, between the media with all their hype bullshit they pull out of their hat's on every marijuana story & our governments choice to fight tooth & nail to hold on to the outdated & unjust laws governing marijuana use in our country therein lies the ones to blame, not an employeer who would have been surely skewered by the media for not taking action when a known drug user they are sponsoring has his picture on a box of Wheaties ceral.

Thanks for taking the time to think it through before signing this bullshit petition, the employees at kellogs in my state need their jobs desperately.
No other sponsors said it was a non issue and there is no backlash for them at all. Media shitstorm? NO, nothing.

What they should have done is nothing.

I understand your people need their jobs, we all do, but when a company does something the people seriously don't like there always are and should be consequences.

I'm not buying kellogs stuff now because of this. Who knows how long that may last but for now I'm pissed with them and I have every right not to buy their shit if I don't like them. There are plenty of other options for the products they make.

They clearly don't understand who half of their customer base is.

Michael Phelps did a chicken shit move himself...he apologized to the people of China for his mistake and bad judgement and promised to redeem himself. WTF? But he was able to keep his Mazda endorsement. Check it out on this week's NORML podcast

Panhead, dude relax. This isn't going to break Kellogs, although they should realize that stoners make up a great deal of their market share. Back in the day that's how my mom new when my sister and I were stoned...the old cold cereal at midnight thing.

This is not end of cereal eating as we know it. Personally I'm boycotting swimming for at least 24 hours. I have principles.

lmao weed smokers always exaggerate, "half their base"

i highly doubt that potheads make up half of kellogs market share

people who don't smoke weed love their cereal as well
