Looks sick. I actually just broke down and threw some of the CFLs back in, but will replace with the other two Kessils if they do show up.

The CFLs made it get too hot in there and made my res too warm. I ended up with root rot! I am trying soil now :bigjoint:
hey there Mohican, I am about to purchase a kessil 350 deep purp. I will pretty much have the same set up as you. you having good success with how you got things there? I am hoping it will be enough....I am very small time... just doing two at a time in a grow cab. anyway, I am just fishing for info about these kessils. I have yet to hear anything really bad about them. I just wanna know if I will have enough light to grow some ass kickin dense nugs. I am currently just using cfl's, and I am NOT a fan of cfl's since my last grow, my exaust went out, and scorched my babies. I was in wk 6 of flower, and poof, show was over a week later.

When I added the deep purple things really took off. I still have not flowered under my new spectrum of Kessils.

I started a thread called the Kessil Club if you want to join I would love to have your grow there.

Link is in my signature.

Cheers,
Mo

well, I got about 7 hours of a bidding war left, and and I should have it if it don't go to high. I really hope not, cause my plants need it. if I get it, I will add my grow. I have been wanting to do a grow journal. peace man.

hey, if you put yr hand under that led, how far would you have to back yr hand off before it was comfortable to your hand? im curious how close I can put the h350 to my plants. a qwik response would be much apriciated because I got about 20 minutes left on the bidding war!

well, it got away from me...that was the first time I tried to buy something on ebay and some asshole slipped in the last few seconds so I wouldn't have a chance to bid again. sneaky bastards. they should do something to correct that. that seems unfair...that or I gotta just do what they did.

I keep mine about 24 inches away. I will also be adding reflective material so I can take advantage of the reflected light.

You can set your high bid limit on ebay and then they can't sneak in on you unless they have a higher bid. It is a great way to set your limit and not get caught up in the bidding. Kessil is dropping their prices on the H350 models according to latest Kessil newsletter.

Please come post on Kessil Club

My tent will get too hot if I don't run the lights at night and make sure I get plenty of good ventilation. Its hard for me to say how much the Kessils have improved my grow because I was just beginning to flower (2-3 weeks). I keep the h150s about 10 inches above my plants and have not noticed any damage. Th h350s must be like spotlights.

I would think you could run one plant with two Kessil h150s. Though for the cost of two h150s you might as well get a magenta h350 to finish with and get it through the veg stage with a couple CFLs or the Crees you got. Then supplement the h350 with those once you start flowering. This is all conjecture though, everyones got different options based on their setup.

yea, they do vary a lot don't they. I have some sylvainias 23 watt that get hot as fuck.

on another note...

does anyone know if nirvana will replace seeds that don't sprout? I got 5 bubblicious, and am at 3 for 5 that grew, that's pretty bad in my book, especially for the price.

Sorry to say, but I would doubt Nirvana would replace seeds that did not germinate, too may variables to account for to say it was bad seeds. Though, if they do replace them let us know and I will definitely buy from them in the future...gotta be a good company if they stand behind something like that.

I will do that...I too had low hopes for this to work out....but shit, some sort of comp would be nice...I didn't do anything outta the ordinary, but I know they don't know that....I hope they do work with me tho, I will let you all know.
